Xiaomi 17 Series Pricing in India Leaked Ahead of Expected March Launch

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra soon in the global market, including India. In the meantime, global pricing for both models has been tipped online. Now, the India pricing of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra has also surfaced online. Here’s how much they could cost.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra India Pricing Leaked

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the standard Xiaomi 17 could start at ₹80,000, while the Ultra model is tipped to be priced at around ₹1,25,000. With this pricing, the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to compete with the Samsung S26 Ultra and Apple Pro models in 2026. Even if this price turns out to be true, the Ultra model will be a bit more expensive compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which was launched at ₹1,09,999.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra Specifications

The Xiaomi 17 is already available in the China, which has a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,656×1,220 pixels and supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The handset runs Android 16 out of the box with the HyperOS 3.0 skin on top.

For imaging, the Xiaomi 17 offers Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP main camera, paired with a telephoto lens and an ultrawide-angle sensor, both at 50MP each. The front-facing camera also boasts a resolution of 50MP. However, the global variant of the Xiaomi 17 is tipped to pack a 6,330mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, which is smaller than the 7,000mAh battery found in the Chinese variant.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Dragon Crystal Glass 3. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa-core processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

It offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, along with a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It packs a 6,800mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra India Launch Timeline

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding their launch timeline.Reports suggest that Xiaomi could begin selling the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in global markets after MWC 2026, which concludes in March.
