All sorts of fantastic superpowers have appeared in both Marvel movies and comics, but some are over-the-top powerful.

Thus, among the various MCU characters that should appear in Daredevil: Born Again, those especially connected to the hero and who can enhance Hell’s Kitchen’s presence in the film universe are included. These appearances, combined with the return of important figures from Daredevil’s original storyline, would help contextualize Matt Murdock in his highly anticipated debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

J. Jonah Jameson

The Media Mogul Could Appear In Daredevil: Born Again

• First appearance in the MCU: Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

J. Jonah Jameson, the MCU’s most infamous journalist, made a memorable return in Spider-Man: Far From Home, bringing his trademark energy and sharp criticisms. While Spider-Man may no longer be his primary target, Jameson could still stir up trouble in Hell’s Kitchen. A cameo in Daredevil: Born Again would be a perfect opportunity to explore how Jameson reacts to other heroes, especially in a post-No Way Home world where Peter Parker’s identity has been forgotten.

Although he is not expected to have significant relevance to the main plot, a cameo as the host of a sensationalist TV show would be a fun and plausible choice. This approach would maintain the character’s cynical tone while adding context to the universe. Thus, the journalist’s presence, even if superficial, would be extremely welcome among the MCU cameos in Daredevil: Born Again.

Bucky Barnes

Winter Soldier Can Form An Alliance With Daredevil

• First appearance in the MCU: Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

While Bucky Barnes and Daredevil haven’t crossed paths much in the MCU, their comic book history is rich with alliances and rivalries. With Daredevil: Born Again set to explore darker, urban themes, the Winter Soldier’s gritty background makes him a perfect fit for a cameo. Plus, Bucky’s involvement in the Thunderbolts* could create intriguing connections to Kingpin’s criminal empire.

Additionally, with Bucky’s involvement in the Thunderbolts*, his appearance could reinforce connections with other MCU projects, as well as create links with the Kingpin arc. Even if his role isn’t central, exploring the character further or having a brief appearance at a key moment in the series would be an interesting way to intertwine Matt Murdock’s story with the expansive Marvel universe.

Echo

Shared Underworld Link Her With The Man Without Fear

• First appearance in the MCU: Hawkeye (2021)

Echo’s appearance in Daredevil: Born Again would be a game-changer. Her deep ties to the criminal underworld, especially through Kingpin, create a natural connection to Matt Murdock. Their shared history with the infamous crime lord could lead to an epic collision of redemption arcs, making their interactions both emotionally charged and unforgettable.

The villain’s appearance was a big surprise for fans, as it connects the Hawkeye and Daredevil universes, reinforcing the possibility of a relationship between the MCU’s urban heroes.

The similarities between the heroes exist, as both operate on the streets and face more realistic threats, making potential interactions easier. Considering the presence of figures like Echo and Kingpin in their narratives, which connect both heroes’ stories, Hawkeye would be a perfect MCU character to appear in Daredevil: Born Again.

Valentina Allegra De Fontaine

She Could Expand The MCU In Daredevil: Born Again

• First appearance in the MCU: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (2021)

Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is an intriguing figure in the MCU, ever since her appearance in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, known for her ability to manipulate and recruit individuals of questionable morality, such as John Walker and Yelena Belova. Her strategic role and connection to the underworld make her appearance in Daredevil: Born Again plausible, whether to recruit Matt Murdock or to carry out even darker plans.

Her influence as a CIA director and her connection to criminal networks could add a layer of political intrigue to the series. Although her direct involvement with Kingpin or Daredevil is not guaranteed, a participation exploring her machinations in New York would be an excellent way to expand the MCU’s street-level stories and strengthen the narrative.

She-Hulk

Daredevil Has Already Appeared On Her TV Show

• First appearance in the MCU: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

It was in She-Hulk that Daredevil made another appearance in the MCU, in a notable and comedic cameo, where Matt Murdock offers a unique dynamic alongside Jennifer Walters. With professional respect as lawyers and the romantic chemistry that arises between them, this contrast of personalities can add new layers to the plot.

Additionally, a collaboration between She-Hulk and Daredevil as heroes would be a valuable addition, as both share a strong sense of justice. Jennifer’s abilities as She-Hulk and Matt’s combat experience could generate electrifying action scenes. With a mix of humor, action, and team dynamics, it would perfectly complement a darker series like Daredevil: Born Again.

Her loyalty to the mission and intense internal conflicts, stemming from her profession and personal choices, enrich her narrative, deepening Daredevil’s plot and the protagonist’s development.

Elektra’s relationship with him is marked by ups and downs, with layers of depth and significant twists, impacting Murdock’s future decisions as a hero and a man. Present in Netflix’s Daredevil, her character challenges his morality, divides his feelings, and makes him question his commitment to justice.
