In April this year, we got the Infinix Note 60 Pro which got tech enthusiasts talking. The phone came equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel primary camera. And now, we are already talking about its successor – the Infinix Note 70 Pro.

The phone has just made an appearance on Geekbench and has once again managed to garner attention. Read on to know about the upcoming smartphone’s key specs including chipset details, and more.
Infinix Note 70 Pro Geekbench Listing: What We Know
The Infinix Note 70 Pro, carrying the model number X6766, has appeared on Geekbench. The listing identifies a mystery Snapdragon chipset with the model number SM7635 and an Adreno 810 GPU.
The smartphone is also listed with 8GB of RAM and Android 17. It reportedly scored 1,145 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 3,523 points in the multi-core test.
The benchmark entry also reveals the processor’s clock speeds. It appears to have one CPU core running at 2.96GHz, three cores at 2.71GHz and four cores at 2.02GHz.
These details are interesting because they do not appear to match the specifications of the existing Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processors.
Infinix Note 70 Pro Chipset: Is It a New Snapdragon 7s Processor?
Earlier reports suggested that the Infinix Note 70 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. However, the recent Geekbench listing has made things kind of complicated.
The SM7635 identifier is associated with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, but the reported CPU configuration does not match either processor. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, for instance, is reported to have CPU clusters clocked at up to 2.7GHz, 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 also does not feature the Adreno 810 GPU listed in the benchmark entry.
This leaves a couple of possibilities. Qualcomm could be working on a new Snapdragon 7s-series processor, potentially the Snapdragon 7s Gen 5, or the Infinix Note 70 Pro could be using an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.
Neither Qualcomm nor Infinix has confirmed the chipset’s identity, so it is too early to say which explanation is correct.
Infinix Note 70 Pro: Expected Specifications
Apart from the Geekbench listing, earlier reports offered a glimpse at what we can expect from the smartphone.
The Infinix Note 70 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 1208 × 2644 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It could also come with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The phone is reportedly expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. If these details are true, the battery could be another major upgrade over its predecessor.
The Infinix Note 70 Pro also appeared on the European Economic Community (EEC) certification website.
It is to be noted that Infinix has not officially confirmed the phone’s specifications or launch timeline. So, it is best to take all this information with a pinch of salt.
