    Oppo A6 5G has been introduced in India as a new budget 5G smartphone. The phone is listed on the Oppo India website and is already on sale. Prices start at Rs. 17,999 and go up to Rs. 21,999. Key hardware includes a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 50-megapixel main camera, and 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging.

    The Oppo A6 5G comes in three configurations with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Buyers can choose from Sapphire Blue, Ice White, and Sakura Pink colour options. Oppo is also giving an instant cashback offer and a three-month no-cost EMI plan through select bank cards.

    Oppo A6 5G Price in India

    The base Oppo A6 5G model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 17,999. A mid-tier version pairs 6GB RAM with 128GB storage at Rs. 19,999. The highest variant carries 6GB of RAM and 256GB storage, and it is listed at Rs. 21,999 on the Oppo India online store.

    On the Oppo A6 5G, the company is providing an instant cashback of Rs. 1,000. Buyers can also choose a three-month no-cost EMI using eligible credit or debit cards from selected banks. All variants are currently sold through the Oppo India online store for customers across the country.

    Oppo A6 5G Display, Software, and Performance

    The Oppo A6 5G supports two nano SIM cards and runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15. The phone features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1,570 pixels. The panel offers up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate for smoother visuals.

    Oppo states that the Oppo A6 5G display covers 83 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It supports 16.7 million colours, a pixel density of 256ppi, and up to 1,125 nits peak brightness. An octa core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset powers the handset, paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

    The Oppo A6 5G is available with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM for multitasking. Internal storage goes up to 256GB using UFS 2.2 technology, matching the three listed variants. This combination targets daily use, social media, and media viewing, while keeping the price in a lower range.

    Oppo A6 5G Cameras and Durability

    For imaging, the Oppo A6 5G includes a dual rear camera system. The primary sensor is a 50-megapixel unit with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus support. It is joined by a 2-megapixel monochrome camera with f/2.4 aperture. Together, the setup is designed for regular photos and basic portrait shots.

    The Oppo A6 5G also carries an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. This sensor handles selfies and video calls. Video recording on the device supports resolutions up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. The phone includes IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for resistance against dust and water.

    The Oppo A6 5G houses a 7,000mAh battery as one of its main hardware features. The battery supports 45W wired fast charging over a USB Type-C port. According to the specifications, the phone supports 5G and 4G LTE networks, along with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity.

    Location services on the Oppo A6 5G rely on BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS systems. Sensor hardware includes a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, e-compass, and accelerometer. Security features cover a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The handset measures 166.6×78.5×8.6mm and weighs about 216g.

    The Oppo A6 5G slots into the affordable 5G category with its pricing and features in India. Buyers get a large 7,000mAh battery, 50-megapixel rear camera, and a 120Hz HD+ display.
