Apple’s first foldable, the iPhone Duo, goes up for pre-order in India tomorrow, and an early benchmark has already shown what it can do. A Geekbench 7 listing, first spotted by MacRumors, shows the Rs 2,99,900 foldable performs almost exactly like the iPhone 18 Pro.
The listed device, identified as iPhone19,4, runs iOS 27.1 and scored 3,986 in the single-core test and 11,067 in the multi-core test. These numbers are in the same range as scores already seen from the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

That is expected, since all three phones run on the same 2nm A20 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU and a 7-core GPU. The listing also shows a 4.93GHz base CPU frequency and 11.30GB of memory, which points to 12GB of RAM.
Keep in mind this is a single result, and Geekbench scores change from run to run. The Duo scores slightly lower than the best iPhone 18 Pro runs, but the gap is small. GPU performance has not been tested yet. Apple claims the A20 Pro is up to 20 percent faster on CPU and up to 40 percent faster on graphics than last year’s A19 Pro.
What this means?
The same chip does not guarantee the same real-world performance. The iPhone Duo has to manage heat inside a hinged body while running two displays, so long gaming sessions or heavy video exports could behave differently. Reviews next week should make this clearer.
The bigger story is the price. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,64,900 with the same chip, and the iPhone Duo starts at Rs 2,99,900 for 256GB and goes up to Rs 4,49,900 for the 2TB model. That extra Rs 1.35 lakh is buying you the folding 7.6-inch screen, not more speed.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo open on October 16 at 5:30 PM IST, and sales begin on October 23 in Star White and Night Sky colours.
