Tecno has confirmed that the Camon 50 Ultra will launch in India, bringing its latest camera-focused smartphone to the country’s competitive mid-range segment.

The handset debuted globally earlier this year and is expected to arrive with premium features such as a 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, and multiple 50MP cameras.

Tecno has announced that the Camon 50 Ultra will make its India debut on July 17. The company is positioning the smartphone as a creator-focused device, highlighting its advanced camera capabilities and premium design.

While Tecno has yet to reveal the official India price, the Camon 50 Ultra is expected to target the sub-₹35,000 segment. Tecno is expected to announce launch offers, availability, and sale details during the launch event.

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra Expected Specifications

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The handset also offers a premium glass sandwich design with curved edges, along with MIL-STD-810 military-grade durability and an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, along with bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming sessions.

For photography, the Camon 50 Ultra is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it is expected to house a 50MP autofocus selfie camera for high-resolution photos and video calls.

The smartphone is expected to ship with HiOS 16 based on Android 16, with Tecno promising three years of major Android OS upgrades. It is also likely to be offered in Orange, Green, Purple, and Black colour options.
