Pokemon TCG Pocket took the world by storm when it was released in October of 2024, with tens of millions of people downloading the game in the first month alone. Since then, a wealth of new content has been added to the popular mobile title, including a seemingly endless stream of new packs, promo cards, and events.

Although there are sometimes surprise additions, the Pokemon TCG Pocket schedule is fairly predictable when it comes to new cards and content. Each month, players can look forward to a special drop event, two new wonder pick cards, and, near the very end of the month, a new expansion or themed booster pack.
The following guide uses information provided by both dataminers and the game’s developers. Given the former, it may contain some mild spoilers.

There are 331 new cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Mega Rising expansion, including three gold crown cards and six Mega Evolutions.
December Will Be Another Big Month for Pokemon TCG Pocket
As of the time of writing, there’s still no word on what this month’s drop event will be, but that doesn’t mean that December won’t still be a great month for Pokemon TCG Pocket fans. Immediately after the Psyduck and Torchic Wonder Pick Event ends on December 7, players can look forward to a new Wonder Pick event featuring brand-new Eevee and Drifblim promo cards. November was an underwhelming month for fans of new packs, but that should all change pretty soon, as the B1a themed booster pack is currently scheduled to arrive on December 17. If last year was anything to go by, there’ll likely be some festive-themed bonuses on offer as well, although these probably won’t be revealed until the new cards drop in mid-December.
