Apple September Event Date Tipped: iPhone 18 Series, iPhone Ultra, Apple Watch Series 12, More Expected

Apple is reportedly preparing for its biggest hardware event of the year, with the company’s annual September launch expected to introduce several new products across its ecosystem. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, September 9 is currently the most likely date for the event, although Apple has yet to officially confirm the schedule.

The event could be particularly significant this year, as Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup and new Apple Watch models.

Apple September Event Date: What to Expect

Apple traditionally holds its September hardware events on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of the month. With Labour Day falling on September 7, a Wednesday event would give international media and attendees additional time to travel following the holiday weekend.

Apple is yet to send out official invitations, so the September 9 date should still be treated as a reported schedule rather than a confirmed launch date.

Foldable iPhone Could Be the Biggest Announcement

The biggest highlight of the event could be Apple’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone, which is reportedly expected to be positioned as an ultra-premium device and could carry the iPhone Ultra branding.

If launched, the device would mark Apple’s entry into the foldable smartphone market, where Samsung and several Chinese smartphone makers have already established a strong presence. Apple’s approach is expected to focus on a premium design and could introduce a significant change to the company’s iPhone lineup.

Alongside the foldable model, Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The new flagship models should bring performance and hardware upgrades over the current generation, although specific details remain unconfirmed.

Apple typically opens pre-orders on the Friday after its September launch event. However, if the company hosts the event on September 9, the following Friday would be September 11.

Given the significance of the date, Apple could potentially move pre-orders to Saturday, September 12, although there is currently no official confirmation of such a change.
