The EV maker opens its flagship event to a wider audience, spotlighting next-gen platforms, charging tech, and software systems.
BENGALURU, 12th July 2025: Ather Energy is transforming its flagship Community Day event, expanding from a private gathering for scooter owners to a broader innovation showcase. This year, the event highlights the integration of technology that can be just as captivating as performance.
The third edition of Community Day is set for August 30 at the Karnataka Trade Promotion Organisation (KTPO) grounds in Bengaluru. For the first time, the event will welcome not only Ather riders but also anyone interested in electric mobility, hardware, design, and clean-tech engineering. This year’s theme, “Technology that Works Like Magic,” emphasises Ather’s commitment to creating intuitive, invisible systems that perform reliably in the real world.

Attendees can expect to see the unveiling of the new EL scooter platform, concept vehicles, next-generation fast-charging infrastructure, and the latest iteration of Ather’s proprietary operating system, Ather Stack 7.0.
Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with interactive exhibits, experience hands-on tech demonstrations, and participate in discussions with Ather’s engineers, designers, and software teams. This approach aims to demystify Ather’s technology and foster deeper brand engagement. “In previous years, Community Day was about celebrating with our owners,” Ather stated.

“This year, we’re opening up to a wider audience—anyone who is excited about what goes into building high-performance electric vehicles.” This decision marks a strategic shift for the Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer, as it seeks to transition from being merely a premium e-scooter brand to a broader platform for innovation and community engagement. Last year’s event attracted thousands of owners celebrating product milestones and brand loyalty.
By inviting a larger audience, Ather aims to engage a growing number of consumers interested in electric vehicles and tech-savvy early adopters. The expansion comes at a pivotal moment when India’s EV market is rapidly evolving, where product design, software ecosystems, and user experience increasingly define competitive advantage.
In this environment, Ather seems to believe that openness, transparency, and a touch of showmanship may be just as important as performance specifications. By adopting this approach, Ather is making a compelling case for the future of two-wheelers to be developed not only in laboratories but also in full view of the people who ride and build them.
