Natarajan Sankar, Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in India, who oversees the firm’s Automotive & Mobility sector, has been named to the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader (YGL) Class of 2025.
Natrajan, has advised prominent automotive manufacturers, energy companies, and policymakers on significant transformations in electrification, mobility, and sustainability, is one of the few people under 40 who are making a significant difference through their leadership and commitment to creating a better tomorrow.
With extensive experience in the automotive sector, including commercial vehicles, passenger cars, two-wheelers, and off-highway vehicles, he has played an important role in advancing the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in India and elsewhere, focusing on battery supply chain strategies, market entry planning for electric vehicles, and developing governmental frameworks to facilitate large-scale green mobility.

Natarajan has experience working with clients on marketing, sales, pricing strategies, organizational restructuring, and large-scale transformations.
