Super Credits (SC) are a premium currency in Helldivers 2, used to unlock Premium Warbonds and purchase rotating items from the Superstore. While SC can be purchased with real-world money, players willing to invest time in grinding can find them for free during missions.

While not free to play, Helldivers 2 is pretty generous in giving away free Super Credits. You can rack up around 1,500–2,000 (or more) SC in a couple of hours with an efficient farming run, especially when you know what to look for and what equipment to bring along.

This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to efficiently farm Super Credits and maximize your earnings in the shortest amount of time. Start grinding now to have enough SC for when the next Warbond drops.

Updated by Jeff Brooks on October 14, 2025: This guide has been overhauled to include some key strategies that didn’t exist at the time of writing. Specifically, the utility of the Warp Pack (from the Control Group Warbond) adds an incredible tool in the hunt for Super Credits and Medals. A video demonstration has also been included below to provide players with an example of how best to use the Warp Pack to gain access to bunkers. Additionally, some previous details and methods have been removed for being less than optimal, while also offering more granular detail on best practices for Super Credit farming.

Helldivers 2: All Enemies List (Types, Weaknesses, And Locations)

Here’s a complete list of all the enemies you can encounter in Helldivers 2 along with their weaknesses so you can quickly defeat them.

The Best Way to Farm Super Credits in Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 - SC Loot Pile
SC loot piles can spawn randomly during missions in Helldivers 2.

Every map has a chance to spawn a pile of Super Credits at one of its Points of Interest (POI) in Helldivers 2. This is not exclusive to any difficulty level. Hence, the most efficient way to farm Super Credits is to grind low-difficulty missions in Helldivers 2. You will face fewer enemies on a smaller map, allowing you to easily (and quickly) find and loot all the POIs before extracting and doing it all over again. The loot pool is also drastically reduced compared to higher difficulties, giving you a greater chance of finding Super Credits or Medals.

This SC farming strategy can net thousands of free Super Credits, depending on how many hours you are willing to spend grinding. However, there are ways to make that grind easier. While the SC spawn chance remains the same, you can cut down the time it takes to clear each map. That includes selecting the best planet and biome, the right difficulty and mission type, and choosing an optimized loadout and build.

For efficiently looting the POIs and getting as many Super Credits and Medals as quickly as possible, ignore the primary objective and extraction. Completing the primary objective and extraction will only reward you with a small amount of XP, Requisition Slips, and the few common samples you pick up, but it will almost double your time on the map.

Since Super Credits (and Medals) are added to your account as soon as you pick them up, you simply want to circle the map, loot all POIs you come across, and then return to your ship. After that, select another mission, choose your loadout, and complete another quick circuit of the next map. Rinse and repeat. The added benefit here is you will also be collecting a fair number of Medals on the grind as well, helping you unlock Premium Warbond rewards while you collect Super Credits to afford the next one.

Knowing the best drop sites, loadouts, and methods will make all the difference between a decent Super Credit haul and a great Super Credit haul.

Best Biomes and Planets for SC Farming

Helldivers 2 - Best SC Farm Biomes
The best biomes for Super Credits are the ones with the easiest terrain to navigate.

    Biome

    Archetypes

    Sandy

    • Desert Dunes
    • Rocky Canyons
    • Moon

    Moor

    • Scorched Moor
    • Tundra
    • Ionic Crimson

    Urban

The biomes mentioned above are the easiest to traverse and navigate, allowing you to complete each map in under three minutes. There are no swamps or water bodies to run around, or dense foliage or snow to slow you down. The environmental conditions are also generally clear, offering a clear line of sight to spot POIs in the distance. All other biomes have the worst imaginable terrain for farming because they take too much time to clear (or the terrain generation actually reduces the total number of POIs available).

Since the accessible planets are always rotating, your goal should be to confirm their biomes. Hover your cursor over a planet to pop up their description. Match the banner to the image above, and jump in.

The newer urban maps, introduced alongside the Illuminate faction (and now available against every enemy faction), do have the highest number of closely clustered POIs, but due to reduced sightlines from the buildings, they aren’t typically the most optimal option for hunting down Super Credits, since flatter terrain offers quicker identification of POIs that are worth checking.

Helldivers 2: Best Weapons to Use Against the Dragonroach

With the launch of Helldivers 2’s major update, Into the Unjust, the Dragonroach enemy has taken to the skies for the Terminid faction.

Best Difficulty and Maps for Super Credits Farming

Helldivers 2 - Best SC Farm Maps
Look for maps with flat lands and no obstacles for easy Super Credits farm in Helldivers 2.

Trivial (level 1) is the best difficulty to farm Super Credits in Helldivers 2. You can typically find 8–12 POIs running around the perimeter of these smaller maps, and you will quickly learn to spot the POIs at a glance while running around.

Increasing the difficulty to Easy (level 2) adds a few more POIs, but the larger map size makes farming less efficient overall. This is because additional enemy spawn locations eat up POIs that could potentially spawn loot. Higher difficulties also expand the available loot pool at POIs, slightly reducing the chances of Super Credit spawns.

When choosing maps, look for wide open spaces without any water or mountains, as shown in the image above. Such environmental obstacles eat up space that can limit the number of POIs. They also make it more difficult to traverse efficiently (and efficiency is the name of the game here).

Avoid the Illuminate when Super Credit grinding. The Illuminate don’t have the same kind of enemy scaling as the Terminids and Automatons. On lower difficulties, bugs and bots have only their weakest enemies as part of their unit pool, but difficulty 1 Illuminate includes some of their most challenging units (Fleshmobs and Stingrays). Those, combined with the sheer numbers of Voteless you’ll come across, make Illuminate maps much more combat intensive compared to the other factions at difficulty 1, which will slow down your progress. Against Automatons and Terminids, you rarely come across any enemies while patrolling the map.

Super Credit Grinding: Solo or With Friends?

    Helldivers 2 Update October 2024

Farming Super Credits with a friend in co-op can drastically cut down on how long the process takes simply by covering the map more quickly, and without a specific tool (the Warp Pack), a friend is needed to open any buddy bunkers you come across, since they require two players to open.

While you can very efficiently farm solo in Helldivers 2 (more details on that below), having another coordinated player on the team does speed up the process.

    Helldivers 2 Exploding Crossbow trailer

    Equipment

    Description

    Primary

    CB-9 Exploding Crossbow / R-36 Eruptor

Grenades work fine for Super Credit hunting, but the Eruptor or especially the Exploding Crossbow (from Democratic Detonation) are fantastic for quickly and accurately blowing open storage containers for loot, and they have a lot more reserve ammo than grenades.

    Secondary

    P-113 Verdict / LAS-58 Talon

Strong secondary option for dealing with chaff that gets too close.

    Grenade

    G-16 Impact

    • Destroys bug holes, bot fabricators, and warp ships.
    • Opens loot containers.
    • Exploding on impact provides similar efficiency to the Explosive Crossbow.

    Armor

Any light armor with 550 Speed

    Maximizes the default sprint speed.

    Booster

    Stamina Enhancement

Increases stamina bar and recovery to speed up farming.

    Experimental Infusion

Stims temporarily increase movement speed and recover stamina.

    Stratagems

    Lift-182 Warp Pack

    (Best Option)

    • Allows for quick traversal to cover more ground.
    • Ability to teleport through walls.
    • Can be risky if teleportation is used too frequently (but easily avoided).
    • Grants solo access to buddy bunkers.

    LIFT-850 Jump Pack

    (Alternate to Warp Pack)

    • Offers great mobility to cover more ground.
    • Speeds up farming runs in general.

    M-102 Fast Reconnaissance Vehicle

    • Allows the fastest traversal around a map (with skilled use).
    • Tricky to drive effectively and efficiently; doesn’t feel as beneficial on the smaller difficulty 1 maps.

    A/MG-43 Machine Gun Sentry

    • Shreds everything in sight with a quick cooldown.
    • Great option if you accidentally trigger a patrol, and you just want to keep moving.

Mobility is the most important thing to consider when creating a farming build in Helldivers 2. Whether you are farming Samples or Super Credits, equip a light armor with the Warp Pack or Jump Pack to speed up runs. Maximizing mobility ensures you do not have to spend more than three minutes per map, allowing you to grind out 20+ maps in an hour.

The Warp Pack, in particular, is the most important stratagem to bring along for getting the most Super Credits per run. The Jump Pack used to be the best backpack Stratagem to bring for SC grinding due to its great speed boost potential, but with the release of the Control Group Warbond, the Warp Pack has fully replaced it for its usefulness in grinding for Super Credits. The Warp Pack’s teleportation not only covers a similar amount of ground to the Jump Pack, but it also offers a huge additional benefit: the ability to teleport inside vaults/buddy bunkers.

Normally, vaults require two players to open, but with the right positioning, the Warp Pack lets you teleport inside a vault, loot the contents of the bunker, and then teleport back out. The Warp Pack does come with a hazardous element, though—using it too frequently can result in sustained damage, immolation, or explosive death. As long as you only use the Warp Pack when the light at the top is purple, it is perfectly safe. While the light is orange, teleporting will result in receiving some damage, injuring a limb, or being lit on fire. While it is red, teleporting will result in blowing yourself up. Safety first, helldivers!

    • The Jump Pack is still a strong alternative if you don’t have access to the Warp Pack yet, but you lose out on all the hidden buddy bunker loot (unless diving with a friend).

You can consider taking the new FRV (Fast Recon Vehicle) in Helldivers 2. It offers fast transportation for your entire squad. However, its handling is a bit messy, especially on rough terrain. The smaller map size of difficulty 1 maps also makes the FRV only really beneficial if you are skilled at driving the unwieldy vehicle. Otherwise, skip it.

Ultimately, the Warp Pack and the Explosive Crossbow are the two most important pieces of the most efficient Super Credit farming method. For stratagems to bring alongside the Warp Pack, I’ll typically just load up on sentries (Machine Gun, Gatling, and Mortar) and simply drop them all when I first land in the world—just for fun.

The Democratic Detonation and Control Group Warbonds are both central to the best loadout for Super Credit farming, but if you don’t have either, prioritize getting Control Group first—the Warp Pack enables you to maximize your Super Credit gains, which will allow you to unlock Democratic Detonation and other Warbonds more quickly.

    Helldivers 2: All Warbonds, Ranked

Here are all of the Warbonds in Helldivers 2, ranked according to practicality to help players figure out which ones to get first.

How to Use the Warp Pack to Access Vaults Solo

Helldivers 2’s Control Group Warbond Warp Pack Sounds a Lot Cooler Than It May Actually Be

Normally, buddy bunkers (or vaults) require two players to access, but with the experimental power of the Warp Pack, you are able to access them while solo diving. This adds a lot of additional potential Super Credits to access on a given run. Teleporting into a bunker can be a bit finicky, though. Most of the time, simply running up to them and teleporting forward will drop you into the bunker. But, if the distance isn’t exact to drop you into the bunker, it’ll sometimes misfire, leaving you standing outside the vault doors. There are also some bunker formations that are a bit more resistant to simply teleporting inside for whatever reason.

The most reliable method of teleporting into a vault is to stand against the middle-right side of the bunker door, crouch, and face the opposite interior corner. Then, teleport, and you should get inside. This method works great for the vast majority of attempts, but you might need to try again once or twice to warp into the bunker (example in the video below).

The video below showcases how to approach and teleport into bunkers for reliable access with the Warp Pack.

Using the Warp Pack simply grants easy access to otherwise co-op-only POI loot. If you’re diving with a friend, the best method is to both equip Warp Packs to clear the map even more quickly, since you won’t need to link up to open up any missed vaults along the way. The Warp Pack is also just great fun to use, and your time spent using it on these difficulty 1 maps will give you crucial muscle memory for how frequently you can use the Warp Pack, providing valuable experience for more challenging encounters on higher difficulties.

How Best to Deploy and Speed Up Your Runs

Helldivers 2 - Firebomb Hellpod Explosion
Firebomb Hellpods create a fiery explosion on their drop-sites in Helldivers 2.

When doing solo farming runs in Helldivers 2, deploy anywhere at the edge of the map and make a full loop of the map, looting up POIs as you go. If the extraction site or primary objective is closer to the edge of the map, I’ll drop right above/below the site, then circle the map until I reach the same site again. This eliminates the chance of backtracking.

When diving with a friend, and you both have Warp Packs equipped, simply drop and run in opposite directions around the map, looting all POIs and vaults along the path until you reunite. Without Warp Packs, you’ll want to mark all buddy bunkers (vaults) to visit at the end before leaving the match.

As you’re running, keep an eye on your minimap/compass for any question marks that pop up—those are your POIs. With relatively flat terrain, you’ll also learn to recognize the different POI formations. Graves, armed hellbombs, and the opened supply caches in the ground will never have Super Credits, so when you spot them, you can ignore them.
