While keeping their relationship a secret at school, they try to make things work at home, at least for the time being, as neither of them plans to stay together long-term. However, unsurprisingly, some real feelings start to develop.

Akane shouts the majority of her dialogue, and her target is exclusively Saito. Even when their relationship softens, Akane still tends to erupt whenever she starts to feel anything positive towards her partner, and she does not hold back. Now, to be fair, I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class is mostly played for laughs, and it is a better comedy than a romance.
