Ray Chase as Amon the Forgeknight

Ray Chase Plays Cyclops in X-Men ’97

    Borderlands 4 Amon closeup

Amon’s towering height and hulking muscles make him a barbarian with one purpose: shut down the Vaults across the galaxies. Amon’s quest serves a higher purpose than his own, and if he can’t talk you down with his regal and booming voice, then he will do so with his fists. Ray Chase brings excellence to Amon, with a voice that demands attention, along with a great mix of bellowing humor and blistering rage. Those familiar with X-Men ’97 might have heard Ray Chase before as Cyclops.

Kimberly Brooks as Harlowe the Gravitar

The Voice of Destiny 2’s Xivu Arath and Plenty of Other Characters

Borderlands 4 Harlowe Sphere Chroma Accelerator

Super intelligent and oozing with deserved confidence, Harlowe the Gravitar has a bone to pick with Maliwan after this mega-corporation stole her tech to manifest their grand ecosystem. Harlowe’s cocky attitude and humorous behavior are aided by Kimberly Brooks’ performance, and players might have recognized her across varying animated shows like South Park and even as the screaming Xivu Arath from Destiny 2.

Judy Alice Lee as Vex the Siren

The Voice of Luna Snow in Marvel Rivals

    Borderlands 4 Vex poster image

Vex was once an employee at Mass Market Appeal, and under much distress over a Mercenary Sale, her Siren powers manifested. Vex’s powers came forth at the right time, allowing her to stay sane across insane galaxies. Judy Alice Lee brings a sassy attitude to Vex, and her voice might sound familiar to fans of Luna Snow in Marvel Rivals and those who have spoken with Melionoe and Echo in Hades 2.

Alejandro Saab as Rafa the Exo-Soldier

The Voices of Cyno & Vlad in Genshin Impact

    BL4 Rafa with Arc Knives

An exo-soldier from Tediore, Rafa broke free of the LiveFrame suit that forced his servitude to a company, living on to see through Tediore’s lies as a valued Vault Hunter. Armed with experimental and expensive tech, Rafa takes his humble and quiet personality, along with his carefree and “YOLO” attitude, to seek new thrills. Fans may have heard Alejandro Saab as Cyno and Vlad in Genshin Impact, or as Gabimaru in Hell’s Paradise, or even as Akihiko Sanada in Persona 3 Reloaded.

    Dave Fennoy as The Timekeeper

Lee Everett in Telltale’s The Walking Dead

    Borderlands 4 Screenshot Timekeeper
    Borderlands 4 Screenshot Timekeeper

Dave Fennoy is a veteran of the industry, having a very recognisable voice that most players might remember as Lee Everett from Telltale’s The Walking Dead. While Lee may have been a compassionate friend that everyone shed a tear for, Dave Fennoy’s portrayal as the Timekeeper shows that there’s a sadistic streak to this ancient being who’s lived a thousand lives and more.

Darin De Paul as Idolator Sol

Overwatch’s Reinhardt and Destiny 2’s Emperor Calus

    idolator sol

Darin De Paul is another veteran of the industry, and one who uses his booming and talented voice to bring forth the twisted Idolator Sol. Sol is a greedy foe, one who sucks up to the Timekeeper to remain an important member of the Order and grow even fatter from strength. Darin De Paul has been heard across countless games, such as Overwatch 2‘s Reinhardt, or even as Destiny 2‘s exiled Cabal Emperor, Calus.

    Aaron LaPlante as Vile Lictor

Primal’s Spear and Resident Evil Village’s The Duke

    vile lictor

Vile Lictor truly is vile, and he’s one of the main men in the Timekeeper’s Order. Vile Lictor’s demand for technological supremacy and twisted experiments makes him reviled, and Aaron LaPlante brings an excellent self-absorbed mad scientist with a detail for sophistication and superiority. While different from his other voice work, Aaron LaPlante can be heard as the Duke in Resident Evil Village, and even as Spear, the protagonist for Primal.

    Melissa Medina as Callis

Heta Kol in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Additional Voices in FFXIV: Dawntrail

    callis the ripper queen

Callis is the Ripper Queen, the woman responsible for the psychos that ravage Carcadia Burn and the rest of Kairos. Callis has twisted motivations after her mind saw fire, and Melissa Medina brings forth that demand for destiny with a feisty and twisted character. This voice actor also performed Zanuhali and Nitowikwe in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, along with Heta Kol in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

    Delbert Hunt as Rush

The Voice of ESPN Promos and Bronze Tiger in DC’s Deathstroke Knights & Dragons

    rush npc

Rush is one of the few friendly and non-psycho faces that players will meet on Kairos, and when he’s not trying to perfect his protein bar recipe, he’s protecting the Outbounders from the Order. Rush is extremely charismatic and friendly, and that’s aided by Delbert Hunt’s performance, who has played characters like Bronze Tiger in Deathstroke Knights & Dragons, along with the professional voice for ESPN and FOX Sports promos.

    Kirsten Potter as Zadra

    Mara Sov in Destiny 2

    zadra

Zadra is a no-nonsense character, one who has lived too many lives on Kairos. Zadra sees through the flaws of the Timekeeper’s so-called “perfect” Order, and wishes to see it crumble after a millennium of mistakes and regret. Her regal and superior tone can be played by none other than Kirsten Potter, who’s familiar with being the smartest woman in the room after playing Queen of the Awoken, Mara Sov, in Destiny 2.

    Erica Luttrell as Levaine

New Mother in Westworld & Bangalore in Apex Legends

    levaine

Levaine hails from Carcadia, the 1% of Kairos who expect caviar and servants to do everything for them. However, when Kairos fell, Levaine stepped up as a leader who wants to survive, with or without her elegance intact. Erica Luttrell brings this compassionate leader a voice, and players can find her work as New Mother in Westworld, and as Bangalore in Apex Legends.

    Trevor Devall as Defiant Calder

Dukey the Dog in Johnny Test and an Abundance of LEGO Voices

    defiant calder

Defiant Calder gets his name for being very defiant of rules and other oppressive strategies that the Order places upon the Auger people. One who demands and deserves respect for himself and the mountains, Defiant Calder will see the Order fall, and prove that size matters not. This respectable face has brought a respectable voice thanks to Trevor Devall, who fans might recognise as Dukey from Johnny Test, along with a bunch of voices, like Emperor Palpatine, in LEGO Star Wars.

    Bruce DuBose as Marcus

A Returning Voice, and Sillad from Solo Leveling

Borderlands 3 Marcus Returning NPC with Borderlands 4 logo edit GAMERANT
Borderlands 3 Marcus Returning NPC with Borderlands 4 logo edit GAMERANT

It wouldn’t be Borderlands without Marcus narrating the journey. Marcus returns as the narrator, but doesn’t have a physical presence in Borderlands 4; the commanding and somewhat snide voice from Marcus could be brought forth by none other than Bruce DuBose, who has been with the series since the very first game in 2009.

    Brina Palencia as Moxxi

Another Familiar Voice Plays Dragon Ball Z’s Chiaotzu

    moxxi and her tip jar

Moxxi is another returning character who owns Moxxi’s Bottoms Up bar, and when she’s not flirting with patrons and Vault Hunters alike, she’s showing that her gun is more than just for show. Brina Palencia brings the calm and flirtatious personality to life with Moxxi, and it’s something Brina Palencia has done ever since the character’s first appearance in Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot.

    Jim Foronda as Claptrap

The New Claptrap, and Kenyu Yukimiya from Blue Lock

    claptrap in borderlands 4

Jim Foronda came in as the latest voice for Claptrap in Borderlands 3, and he’s continued on with the role for Borderlands 4. Claptrap is as annoying as ever, and that’s actually a compliment. Jim Foronda brings forth Claptrap’s irresistible charm and droning, showcasing how this is a character who can never be stopped or killed, as much as some Vault Hunters might wish that weren’t the case.

    Cian Barry as Zane

A Role Reprisal for Cian Barry

    zane in borderlands 4

Cian Barry played Zane Flynt in Borderlands 3, and while the character in the previous game was given just a few quippy and interactive lines while playing as him, it seems his role has deservedly been extended in Borderlands 4. Cian Barry brings immense charm to Zane, and missions alongside this retired Vault Hunter are always a blast to see what destructive, flirtatious, and romantic plans he has in store.

    Zehra Fazal as Amara

A Reprisal Role & Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s Wonder Woman

    amara with hermes

Amara is the playable Siren of Borderlands 3, and her dialogue, motivations, and actual character have all been further fleshed out to provide Zehra Fazal with a greater character to play. Amara was always confident and headstrong, but Borderlands 4 gives her more responsibility this time around, thanks to her passionate quest to find Lilith. Zehra Fazal is no stranger to this stoic type of character, as she played Wonder Woman, the last surviving member of the Justice League, sent on a mission to save or kill her friends in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

    Ricco Fajardo as Arjay

Yoichi Isagi in Blue Lock and Mirio Togata in My Hero Academia

    arjay and echo-4

Ricco Fajardo has a familiar voice for anime fans, as he’s appeared as the voice of multiple characters across Blue Lock, My Hero Academia, Black Clover, and more. In Borderlands 4, Ricco Fajardo plays Arjay, the up-and-coming Vault Hunter who wants to help free Kairos from the tyranny of the Timekeeper.

    Ric Spiegel as Zed

The Iconic Doctor Makes a Return

    dr zed's meds

Ric Spiegel has had a few roles across various productions, like Dr Watson in Wishbone and Gordon Quick in Deus Ex. However, Ric Spiegel’s most beloved role comes from the very franchise that he’s returned to after his absence from Borderlands 3. Ric Spiegel is Dr. Zed, and his voice can be heard across his medicinal vending machines.
