It is clear, however, that Kawaki and Boruto are no match for Jura, at least for now. This means that the Shinju arc will continue for a while. Since the chapter leaked a few days before the official release, fans have been commenting on it for a while.

In any case, fans were outraged by the way the battle ended because the characters simply left. On Reddit, some are even calling it “rude” or even “peak disrespect.” Others liked the chapter, as it reveals more about Jura’s personality. While abrupt, it actually makes sense for Jura to refrain from battle to learn about things that intrigue him. The last few chapters showed that Shinju Clones are not simply bloodthirsty monsters but beings able to think rationally, with a few human characteristics. Additionally, Kawaki fans were happy with his attitude in this chapter.
What’s Next for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex?
It is obvious that Boruto and Kawaki need to grow stronger, and fans speculate that Jura will be defeated by a joint effort of Boruto, Kawaki, Sarada, and maybe Himawari. In any case, we are likely to get a training arc while Jura studies more about humans. There might even be a redemption for Jura since, unlike the other clones, he is not designed after any specific person. Therefore, while the other clones need to be defeated to unseal their templates (including Sasuke), Jura could potentially stay alive. But that seems a remote possibility for now.
The plot will likely thicken now since Jura deduced that Naruto is alive, and Sumire and Amado were watching. While Amado already suspected that they have been living in a somewhat fake reality, Sumire seemed surprised by the revelation, and this could have serious implications from now on. Additionally, the chapter hinted at Boruto and Kawaki working together despite their differences. Finally, Koji claimed that the future has changed, which means that his Prescience ability is not absolute, and it is still possible for a few things to diverge from the possibilities he is able to access.
