The Necropolis is the first chapter in The Little Nightmares 3. Low and Alone are in a crow-infested area where a giant baby is roaming around that can petrify anything with her gaze. Solve the puzzles and move quickly to reach Chapter Two safely.
If you are playing alone, the AI will control the other character (Low or Alone) and automatically help with puzzles.
Necropolis Walkthrough In Little Nightmares 3
After Low wakes up from the strange mirror vision, proceed forward and use a shoe to throw it at the button and unlock the bridge.
Cross the bridge and jump down to traverse the desert. Climb the ladder and let Alone destroy the rocks at the end of the tunnel.
Grab the Doll and pull the box of organs to go through the gap in the wall.
Throughout the chapter, you can shoot at least 11 Crows to get the Birdbrained Achievement.
Walk across the plank and let Low shoot the rope to drop a box. Use it to climb up and walk towards the end. Shoot another rope to release another box that’ll help the protagonists jump through the small gap.
Carefully walk on the planks and go through another gap. Use Alone’s wrench to rotate the lever, allowing Low to reach the other side and shoot the rope.
Move on to the next area and push the cage onto the pressure tile to open a path.
Climb the ladder and head left using the planks. One of the characters should rotate the lever while the other stands on the box to go higher. Pull the lever to lower the ladder for the other character and work together to remove the wooden plank blocking the path to the left.
Make Low shoot the crow holding the key to store it away. Return to the bottom and use it to unlock the door.
Open the small door together and wait for the giant arm to go away. Proceed forward past the air ducts and open a closet to get two feathery umbrellas.
Return to the ducts and open the umbrella to fly up. Glide down the rope and jump simultaneously on the hatch to fall down.
After the giant hand goes away, sprint to the right and use the umbrella to glide up. Next, let Alone break the wall with the wrench. Equip the feathery umbrella again and glide down to open a door together.
By jumping down and opening the umbrella at the last second before hitting the ground, you can get The Windy City Achievement.
In the next room, players must use the columns and statue to hide from the baby’s petrifying gaze. At the end, stand still on the pressure tile, forcing the ground to act as an elevator.
Destroy the rocks on the left to get a Doll, then head through the left crack. Proceed forward into the tunnel and past the hanging bodies to find a small door at the end.
Bugs will appear, and you need to take care of them to keep going. Use Low to shoot them down and Alone’s wrench to smash them.
Continue walking to find another tunnel leading to a room full of planks on the wall. Use them to climb up and witness the baby walking around.
Walk back towards the camera to find a door to the right. Go up the stairs to get another Doll, then use the umbrella to reach the platform.
Keep the umbrella equipped and fly up another platform. Use it again to glide down this time by opening the umbrella and closing it quickly to land on the lower platform.
Push the plank and cross to the other side. Once you enter the long corridor, immediately hide behind the box as the baby is about to appear. Wait for the monster to go away and proceed down towards the camera to find a path to the right.
The baby will appear again and take the giant rattle toy, leaving a hole in the ground for the protagonists to jump into.
Progress through the tunnels and past the petrified bodies to eventually destroy the wood blocking the way with Alone.
The characters sadly get caught by the giant baby in the next room and wake up in a new area after Low has a flashback.
Head left through the gap first to get the fourth Doll, then jump up the ledge to the right to proceed. Cross the planks and go down the spiral staircases to re-encounter the giant baby.
Use toy blocks to hide from the petrifying gaze until you reach the tiny door at the end.
Move the box from under the stairs and use it to reach the higher platform. Destroy the wall using the wrench and climb up two ladders to get a room with a petrified hanged body.
Make Alone destroy the head to release the rope and use Low to shoot it, ringing the bell and drawing the baby’s attention. Hide in the nearby box and wait for her to go away.
Climb through the newly created path to the right to the next room. Turn the wheel using the wrench with Alone to create an airway, allowing Low to fly up and unlock a ladder for her.
Remove the plank from the door and keep going until you pass through a gap in the wall. After sliding on a roof, quickly equip the umbrella to reach the other side.
In the long corridor, walk up past the stalls to pick up the fifth and final Doll in the Necropolis chapter. Crawl right to continue exploring.
Collecting all Dolls during the first chapter rewards the Toybox Achievement.
Low will hoist Alone up, and she needs to drag a box with a hanging rope closer to him. Low will hang from the rope and swing back and forth to reach the lever, unlocking the door.
In the next room, dragging the box from the left corner will summon the baby. After the small cutscene, continue dragging the box to reach the high platform.
Just like previous encounters, use the boxes to hide from the baby’s gaze. The final box is hanging from a rope, so make Low shoot it down and proceed forward.
Jump through the window and keep going until you open a small door. Start running immediately to the right to avoid the falling debris, to eventually hide behind another big rattle toy.
The baby will cast her petrifying gaze and shake the room left and right, dropping a box nearby. While she’s distracted with the rattling toy, hide behind the box because she will gaze at it again and harm players if not covered.
Eventually, the crows will come and attack the giant baby as she reaches into the room, successfully distracting her.
If players survive all baby encounters without dying, they will get the Peekaboo Achievement.
Follow the path to the right and use the umbrella to glide down through the hole.
Wait for Low to touch the mirror, then take his hand to move on to the next chapter. This will complete chapter one, the Necropolis, and reward the Child’s Play Achievement.
