Gigabyte is shaking things up at Computex 2025. Best known for its motherboards and gaming laptops, the company is now diving headfirst into the world of pre-built desktop PCs. And they’re not just any desktops-these machines are built with AI-focused capabilities and high-performance gaming in mind.
It’s a bold move for a brand that’s traditionally been a go-to for DIY PC builders, but the timing couldn’t be better. With AI rapidly weaving its way into every part of tech, Gigabyte is betting big on pre-built systems that are ready for AI workloads straight out of the box.

AI TOP 100 Z890: Gigabyte’s Flagship AI Desktop
The star of the show is undoubtedly the AI TOP 100 Z890, a pre-built desktop designed from the ground up for AI processing and high-end gaming. This beast of a machine packs an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor-a liquid-cooled monster capable of handling intense computational loads without breaking a sweat. Coupled with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU and a whopping 128GB of DDR5 memory, the AI TOP 100 Z890 is positioned as a powerhouse for startups, researchers, and anyone looking to push the boundaries of machine learning and 4K gaming.
The setup is based on Gigabyte’s AI TOP components, which include the Z890 motherboard, AI-ready SSD storage, and a massive 1600W power supply. All these parts are tuned for maximum throughput and stability, ensuring that AI algorithms run smoothly, even under heavy loads.
AI TOP 500 TRX50: The Mysterious Heavy Hitter
While the AI TOP 100 Z890 was the centerpiece of Gigabyte’s announcement, the company also teased the AI TOP 500 TRX50. Details are still thin, but if the specs from last year’s TRX50 motherboard are anything to go by, this desktop is set to be a serious contender.
We’re talking about four PCIe x16 slots, four NVMe M.2 slots, dual 40Gbps USB Type-C ports, 10GbE wired LAN controllers, and Wi-Fi 7. This kind of connectivity screams multi-GPU scalability and ultra-fast storage-exactly what you’d want for handling deep learning models or high-resolution game rendering.
Gigabyte’s Gaming Lineup Gets an Upgrade
It wouldn’t be Computex without some gaming hardware, and Gigabyte did not disappoint. Alongside its AI desktops, the company rolled out two new gaming rigs-the Aorus Supreme 5 / ICE and the Aorus PRIME 5.
- Aorus Supreme 5 / ICE: Built on the X870E motherboard, this desktop lets you choose between GeForce RTX 5090 or 5080 graphics cards.
- Aorus PRIME 5: This model is configured with a B850 motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor, offering options for either the RTX 5080 or 5070 Ti.
Both systems are designed for top-tier gaming performance, giving enthusiasts the kind of power they typically only see in custom-built machines.
Stealth PC Build Kit: For the DIY Enthusiasts
If you’re still into the art of building your own machine, Gigabyte also introduced its Stealth PC Build Kit. This isn’t your typical bundle of parts; it’s a carefully curated set that focuses on cable management and aesthetics.
The kit includes either the X870 Aorus Stealth Ice or B850 Aorus Stealth Ice motherboards, paired with an Aorus GeForce RTX 5090 Stealth Ice 32G graphics card. To top it off, you can throw all of this into Gigabyte’s own C500 Panoramic Stealth Ice chassis. It’s a tempered-glass beauty that gives you a full 270° panoramic view of your build.
Gaming Laptops Join the Lineup
While the desktops stole most of the spotlight, Gigabyte also launched two new gaming laptops-the Gigabyte Gaming A18 and the Gigabyte Gaming A16 Pro.
- The Gaming A16 Pro is a sleek machine, just under 20mm thick, powered by an Intel Core 7 240H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 mobile GPU. It features up to 32GB of dual-channel LPDDR5x memory and dual SSD slots for a total of 4TB of storage.
- The Gaming A18 is the bigger sibling, rocking an 18-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time. It comes equipped with your choice of an Intel Core 7 240H or AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor, alongside an RTX 5070 GPU.
Both laptops are designed for gamers who want serious power without lugging around a bulky machine.
