PUNE: 29th April, 2025: Eka Mobility, in collaboration with Chartered Speed, which operates a fleet of over 1,800 buses, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the deployment of 675 electric buses in Rajasthan through the PM E-Bus Sewa Scheme.
This initiative aims to improve urban public transport infrastructure while reducing air pollution and dependence on fossil fuels. The consortium is responsible for deploying 565 nine-metre and 110 twelve-metre fully electric buses in the state’s eight major cities: Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Bhilwara, and Jodhpur.
Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), a state-run entity responsible for demand aggregation for these buses, issued a Letter of Confirmation of Quantity (LOCQ) for electric buses, marking the Rajasthan award to Eka Mobility as one of the largest bus packages awarded nationwide.

Previously, EKA Mobility secured significant contracts amounting to Rs 150 crores from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) and Rs 400 crores from the Nagpur Municipal Corporation. EKA, operated by Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd., is backed by equity partners Mitsui & Co., Ltd. from Japan and VDL Groep from the Netherlands.
