Fallout Season 2 is finally here to take us back to the Wasteland of Los Angeles. Lucy has joined Ghoul on a dangerous journey to unravel the truth about Vault-Tec and find her father, Hank. This blood-soaked adventure in the seconds brings back almost every character from the first season. Along with that, the latest season also introduces us to some new, interesting characters.
Of course, several fans must’ve started watching Fallout just recently. In that case, they might want to learn more about the cast and the characters they are playing in the TV show. Well, in that case, here’s a list to help you out.

From Arcane and Yellowjackets fame, Ella Purnell is Lucy MacLean in Fallout, the Vault Dweller from Vault 33. Lucy has led a rather peaceful childhood inside the Vault. But some unforeseen events send her to the Wasteland. Not only does she have to survive the horrors of this unforgiving world, but she must also find her father, Hank MacLean. In the first season of Fallout, Lucy pairs up with Maximus from the Brotherhood of Steel, and yes, there was a romantic angle. But after the season 1 finale, it’s hard to say when these two will face each other again.
Luzy has absolutely no idea about how things work outside of the Vault, so she joins Ghoul so she can learn a thing or two. The unusual pair-up works amazingly in the second season. The constant clash of ideologies and their little banters bring out the best and worst of each character.

Walton Goggins has appeared in several TV shows and movies over the years, including The White Lotus, The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, and many more. The talented actor has been playing Cooper Howard, or The Ghoul, in the Fallout TV show. We have seen a lot from Goggins in the first season of Fallout, and we can say that there’s no better choice for playing Ghoul in the TV show.
Cooper Howard was a popular actor before the war; in fact, he also appeared in an advertisement for Vault-Tec. However, for reasons we won’t spoil here, Howard wasn’t inside the vaults when the bomb fell. He survived, but the radiation turned him into a Ghoul. Howard not only survived for over 200 years in the Wastelands, but he also became a fearsome and legendary bounty hunter. Goggins’s character in Fallout starts out as someone noble, but after the war, he transforms into a ruthless killer. Cooper Howard and The Ghoul are basically two different characters in the same skin, and as expected, Walton Goggins has done a tremendous job with the character so far.

Aaron Moten takes on the role of Maximus in the Fallout TV show. The young American actor is best known for playing a significant role in Netflix’s Disjointed sitcom. Other than that, you might remember Moten from Mark Wahlberg’s Father Stu. However, it’s safe to say that Maximus is one of the breakout roles of Moten’s career.
Maximus is one of the three protagonists of the series and a member of the Brotherhood of Steel. Maximus lost his loving parents when Hank MacLean turned Shady Sands into a pile of dust with a nuclear weapon. Maximus survived and later became a squire for a Brotherhood Knight. Then, a series of events, which included an encounter with Lucy and the Ghoul, made Maximus wear a power armor himself. Maximus is a complex character who, despite wearing weaponized armor, is still a scared little kid who can’t get over his parents’ death. However, he’s also furious at the world for everything that has happened to him. The character arc of Maximus has been great in Fallout so far, and it goes without saying that Moten has done a tremendous job portraying the character.

Kyle MacLachlan is back as Hank MacLean in Fallout Season 2. The 66-year-old American actor has appeared in several TV shows and movies over the years. Apart from winning a Golden Globe for his role in Twin Peaks, MacLachlan also played Paul Atreides in 1984’s Dune. We’ve also seen him in Sex and the City, Inside Out, and even in Grand Theft Auto III, in which he voiced Donald Love.
At first, Hank MacLean seems like an idealistic character who deeply cares about his family. However, we soon learn that he is one of the greedy Vault-Tec employees responsible for dropping the bombs. Not only that, but it was Hank who killed God knows how many people in Shady Sands. What’s worse is that Hank doesn’t feel enough guilt for killing countless people, and guess what? He did all that for a promotion. Anyway, there’s no doubt that Hank is a morally grey character, but he doesn’t look like it, thanks to that innocent face. There’s a mystery to this character, and MacLachlan handles all that complexity just perfectly.

Justin Theroux is an American actor who you might remember from American Psycho and Zoolander. More recently, the actor also appeared in Bumblebee and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Apart from showcasing his talent in acting, Theroux was also a screenwriter for Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2. Theroux is extremely talented, and now he’s all set to shine as Robert House in Fallout Season 2.
For the unacquainted, Robert House is a significant character in the Fallout video games. He is the founder and CEO of RobCo Industries, and it’s Theroux who is responsible for creating life-preserving technology. Not only that, but he also made sure that Las Vegas doesn’t get destroyed once the bombs drop. Well, that basically makes him the owner of New Vegas. House is an antagonist figure who was a key figure during the Great War, and it seems like he’s leading every modern technology after the war as well.

Fueled by Hannah Montana fame, Moisés Arias has reprised his role of Norm MacLean in the second season of Fallout. The young American actor is known for playing Rico on Disney’s Hannah Montana. Apart from that, we’ve seen the actor do a great job in projects like Pitch Perfect 3, Five Feet Apart, and Ender’s Game.
Norm is Lucy’s older brother, who is also a victim of his father’s sins. Sure, he isn’t the Wasteland fighting against, well, everyone. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t having a great time. In fact, he is stuck in Vault 31 with Bud Askins. He is there without food or water, and since Norm is stubborn, he refuses to go into the cryopod. Instead of giving up, Norm chooses to create “chaos” by releasing the Vault-Tec executives from the cryopods, much to Bud Askins’ disliking. Of course, Arias did an amazing job with Norm in the first season, but honestly, the character (and the actor!) is really starting to push his limits in the second season.
