Fresh pricing details for the Realme 16 Pro series have surfaced ahead of the official launch, and they give us a fairly clear picture of how Realme plans to position these phones in India. The leak comes from tipster Paras Guglani and lists prices for both the Realme 16 Pro and the higher-end 16 Pro+.
If these numbers are accurate, Realme seems to be aiming straight at the premium mid-range space, with a noticeable gap between the two models.
Realme 16 Pro Series Tipped Prices In India
As per the leaked information, the Realme 16 Pro could start at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB and 256GB model is tipped to cost Rs 33,999, while the top-end 12GB and 256GB version may be priced at Rs 36,999.
The Realme 16 Pro+ sits a step higher. The base 8GB and 128GB variant is said to cost Rs 39,999. Moving up, the 8GB and 256GB option could be priced at Rs 41,999, while the 12GB and 256GB model may go all the way up to Rs 44,999.
There’s also an offline prebooking offer mentioned in the leak. Customers who pre-book the phone at offline stores may receive a backpack worth Rs 7,999. It’s still unclear how widely this offer will be available or if it’ll apply to online buyers as well.
What Realme Has Already Confirmed
Realme has already confirmed a few key details about the 16 Pro series, so this isn’t a complete shot in the dark.
Both the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ will feature a 200MP main camera. This time around, the company says it’s putting more emphasis on portrait photography rather than just pushing high megapixel numbers. The series will also debut Realme’s new LumaColor IMAGE system, which the brand claims is designed to improve colour accuracy and keep portraits looking more natural across different lighting conditions. Realme has described this as a shift away from aggressive image processing.
On the design side, the phones are developed in collaboration with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. They’ll use a bio-based silicone material and softer curves, with more focus on how the phone feels in everyday use rather than flashy finishes.
The 16 Pro series will launch in nature-inspired colours such as Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple.
