Guilty Gear Strive was originally released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2021. The game then made its way over to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in March 2023. Guilty Gear Strive will release on the Nintendo Switch in January 2025 and will include the first three seasons of DLC characters, though it will not support crossplay like other versions of the title.

He stated that they are discussing what can be done, as well as how soon the fixes can be released. Season 4 of Guilty Gear Strive was released on October 31 and will run through the rest of this year and a large portion of 2025. The first DLC character to be released for the game this season was Queen Dizzy, a fan favorite who received a visual makeover. Series veteran Venom releases in early 2025, while newcomer Unika will drop in Spring 2025 as the third fighter of Season 4. Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will then drop in Summer 2025 as the first Guilty Gear crossover character. Players can also look forward to two new stages and a 3v3 mode that will help provide a unique way to experience the game.
