Hala Mobility, a multi-modal electric vehicle ride-sharing platform based in Telangana, has formed a partnership with iGowise Mobility, an electric two-wheeler original equipment manufacturer located in Bengaluru. This collaboration aims to introduce 2,000 specially designed high-speed, anti-topple electric trikes in cities such as Hyderabad and Bangalore.
The initiative is intended to assist businesses by reducing operational costs, enhancing reliability, and adhering to sustainability regulations, all while facilitating quicker deliveries for consumers.
In elaborating on this partnership, Srikanth Reddy, CEO of Hala Mobility, stated, “The primary challenge in last-mile logistics lies in achieving a balance between speed, cost-effectiveness, and rider comfort. With iGo’s innovative BeiGo electric trike, we are presenting a transformative solution that not only promotes sustainable electric mobility but also enhances operational efficiency.
Our riders appreciate the ease of managing the payload without experiencing strain on their backs and knees. The anti-topple swiveling feature, which is unprecedented, provides exceptional stability, enabling riders to navigate confidently on narrow roads even while carrying loads.” Sravan Kumar Appana, CEO and co-founder of iGowise Mobility, also noted that their collaboration with Hala Mobility will contribute to lowering emissions and urban pollution, while simultaneously offering a comprehensive strategy to improve the livelihood, safety, and comfort of riders, along with significant cost savings for logistics partners.
Hala Mobility, which recently secured INR 51 crore in funding, aims to deploy nearly 10,000 electric vehicles by the end of 2025, with the goal of revolutionizing delivery operations across sectors such as e-commerce, dairy and perishable goods delivery, and rapid commerce, transitioning from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles.
