HMD has launched the Vibe 2 Pro 5G in India as its latest smartphone in the Vibe series. The new model arrives as a successor to the HMD Vibe 2 5G and brings upgrades to the display, cameras and battery.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and runs Android 16 out of the box. It also gets a 120Hz display, 5G connectivity, a 6,000mAh battery and 33W wired charging. Other highlights include a 64-megapixel Sony camera, Indus AI support for Indian languages and dual stereo speakers.
HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G Price in India
The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 17,999. The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart from October 8.
As part of a limited-time launch offer, the two variants can be purchased for Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,999, respectively. The phone is available in Silver Mist, Aqua Green and Cosmic Purple colour options.
HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone runs Android 16 and is promised two years of security updates.
For photography, the handset features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. A circular LED flash is positioned below the cameras. The phone also gets a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G includes Indus AI by Sarvam, offering AI assistance in more than 22 Indian languages. It can help with tasks such as drafting content, answering queries and planning. The smartphone also supports the Sanchar Saathi Safety app.
Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging. Other features include 5G support, dual stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
