There are five ways for players to get their hands on Lucky Drops in Clash Royale.
- Daily Tasks: Completing Daily Tasks grants up to three Lucky Drops as rewards every day.
- Pass Royale: Even Free Pass Royale users can claim a decent number of Lucky Drops as they progress.
- Season Shop: The Season Shop can sometimes contain Lucky Drops as rewards that players can purchase using Season Tokens
- In-Game Store: Lucky Drops can occasionally appear as shop deals in the in-game store.
- In-Game Events: Lucky Drops can also be nabbed from in-game events accessed from the home page.
The most consistent way to earn Lucky Drops for free is by completing Daily Tasks. By completing the daily objectives (login and win 3 battles), players can earn two 1-Star and one 2-Star Lucky Drops along with 15 free Crowns to progress their Pass Royale. You can also maintain a Login Streak to gain a bonus Lucky Drop.

Lucky Drops typically require 4 taps to open. However, sometimes you can tap them an additional one to three times, giving you a better chance to upgrade them to a higher Star level. The probability of the change is minor, so starting with a higher rarity Lucky Drop is the best way to guarantee better rewards.
4 and 5 Star Lucky Drops usually require only one tap to open and can’t be upgraded.
