How to Catch Fish in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Ocean
Players can dive directly into the ocean and catch the fish that are found within it by hand. The ocean can be entered from the Beach on the east side of the Rich Island map and from Aloha Beach on the south side of the Hawaii map, and this is a great option for fans who are looking for fish in the early hours of Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Nets
During the second chapter of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, players will enlist the services of Clark and Julie, Hawaii-based characters who are capable of improving Majima’s ship. After gathering enough money and enlisting an acceptable number of recruits, those characters will perform the improvements, adding several new features to the Goromaru. Among those new features is the ability to attach nets to the ship, and players can perform that action by boarding the Goromaru, accessing “Deck Mode,” and interacting with the net icon near the steering wheel.
Players will obtain a variety of nets simply by running into containers while sailing. The nets that are relevant to catching fish are called “Fishing Nets,” and Like a Dragon fans are likely to have many of them by the time that they unlock the ability to attach nets.
Once a Fishing Net has been attached to the Goromaru, a distance will be listed above the net icon. That distance counter indicates how far the ship must travel before the net yields any fish, and players can simply sail around until it reaches zero. When that occurs, fans should return to Deck Mode and interact with the net icon to claim their catch.
Chain Hook
As players work towards improving the Goromaru in Chapter 2, Julie will provide Majima with a Chain Hook. This sidearm can be fired by holding LT, aiming with the right joystick, and pressing RT, and fans will find that it has a variety of uses. One use for Chain Hook is pulling fish out of certain bodies of water, including the river that runs along the northern edge of Hawaii’s Little Japan before ultimately traveling southward into the ocean.
How to Catch Insects in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Chain Hook
The Chain Hook that Julie provides in Chapter 2 is the tool that players will primarily use to catch insects. Indeed, this sidearm has the ability to easily pluck bugs out of the air and off the ground, and Rich Island is a great place to look for those creatures.
Goro, the tiger, will occasionally have an insect in its mouth, which players can claim by interacting with the cat. While this feature does not provide an opportunity to amass a large quantity of bugs, fans are still advised to interact with Goro when its mouth is glowing.
