The Celestial Ribbon is one of the rarest and most sought-after materials in Black Myth: Wukong. The reason why players want to get their hands on the item is because it is needed to craft some of the best armor in the game.
Given how unforgiving the bosses can be in Black Myth: Wukong, it is unwise to fight them with frail armor. So, players should aim to make the best armor using the Celestial Ribbon . There are various methods to obtain the Celestial Ribbon, and in this guide, Black Myth: Wukong players will find all of them.
How To Get Celestial Ribbon In Black Myth: Wukong
Celestial Ribbons cannot be found in abundance like some of the other materials in Black Myth: Wukong. This means that players will only be able to obtain a limited number of Celestial Ribbons in a single playthrough. In the first three chapters, players won’t be able to get the material. They will, however, get it in Chapter 4 after beating the Hundred-Eye Daoist Master. As players start Chapter 5, they will get more Celestial Ribbons, mainly from beating bosses and opening chests.
So, players should try to explore every corner of the region to fight every boss and open all the chests. Chapter 6 is the same. Some of the bosses on Mount Huaguo will drop Celestial Ribbons. So, get on the Somersault Cloud and explore the area.
The final and easiest method to procure the Celestial Ribbon is by buying it from a Keeper’s Shrine. Players should go to a Keeper’s Shrine when they reach Mount Huaguo. The resource is rather expensive, so make sure that you have Will. If you are running low on Will, go to an enemy-infested area and try to farm it for a while.
How To Use Celestial Ribbon In Black Myth: Wukong
Make The Best Defensive Armor
As previously stated, Celestial Ribbon is needed to craft top-notch armor. Players will need to craft all four items of the Bull King’s Armor Set, which include the following:
Aside from making this particular armor set, players will need the Celestial Ribbon to upgrade other equipment. Players won’t find the option to upgrade armor until they reach the Zodiac Village, a secret area in Chapter 3. It can be unlocked after completing Chen Loong’s quest, which requires beating him and then going to Xu Dog to collect his medicine. When players return with the pills, they need to talk to Chen Loong, and he will grant them access to the Zodiac Village. Upon entering the village, talk to Yin Tiger, and he will upgrade your armor. In New Game+, players can upgrade their armor from any Keeper’s Shrine.
