iQOO and Vivo have raised prices on four smartphones in India again, with increases of up to Rs 3,000 per variant. This is the second round of hikes for these models in a short span, and the new prices are already live.

iQOO 15, iQOO 15R, Neo 10, and Vivo T5 Pro Get Second Price Hike

The smartphones got their initial hike earlier this month.

New Prices After the Second Hike

    iQOO 15

    • 12GB/256GB: Rs 72,999 to Rs 74,999
    • 16GB/512GB: Rs 79,999 to Rs 81,999

    iQOO 15R

    • 8GB/256GB: Rs 46,999 to Rs 47,999
    • 12GB/256GB: Rs 50,999 to Rs 52,999
    • 12GB/512GB: Rs 57,999 to Rs 59,999

    iQOO Neo 10

    • 8GB/256GB: Rs 37,999 to Rs 39,999
    • 12GB/256GB: Rs 42,999 to Rs 44,999

    Vivo T5 Pro

    • 8GB/128GB: Rs 29,999 to Rs 32,999
    • 8GB/256GB: Rs 33,999 to Rs 36,999

The Vivo T5 Pro sees the steepest jump at Rs 3,000 across both variants. The iQOO 15R 8GB/256GB has the smallest increase this round at Rs 1,000.

    Why This Keeps Happening

The repeated hikes aren’t specific to iQOO or Vivo. The root cause is the ongoing global DRAM and NAND memory shortage, with AI data centres buying up chip supply at scale. Memory makers like Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron have been prioritising those higher-margin server orders, which has left smartphone-grade memory supply constrained.

That pressure is trickling down to retail prices across the board. A Counterpoint Research report puts the expected impact at 8 to 10% globally in 2026, with the situation potentially running into 2027. OnePlus, Nothing, Realme, Xiaomi, and Samsung have all already revised prices on various models earlier this year.

    What Buyers Should Do

If you’ve been eyeing any of these phones, it might be worth holding off for a bit. With Flipkart’s GOAT Sale and Amazon Prime Day Sale just around the corner, there’s a good chance you’ll see better prices, bank discounts, and exchange offers than what’s available right now.
