Professional wrestler Joe Hendry is pitching to get his song, “I Believe in Joe Hendry,” to be used in Grand Theft Auto 6. Slated for release later this year, GTA 6 is bringing players back to Vice City and introducing the surrounding state of Leonida, which is inspired by Florida. Many longtime fans have been throwing out theories about the possible story and character appearances, but developer Rockstar Games has been keeping things under wraps.
Hendry is currently signed to Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling and is the reigning TNA World Champion. He also makes regular appearances in partner promotions, WWE and NXT, and recently made his Royal Rumble debut almost a week ago. An integral part of Hendry’s gimmick is that he makes catchy songs, mostly about his opponents, but his entrance song, “I Believe in Joe Hendry,” became an instant hit with fans and even among people outside the wrestling sphere.

Grand Theft Auto 6 gets an update on its release window, with Take-Two appearing confident in when the game will finally reach gamers.
With Rockstar Games still keeping fans waiting for the next GTA 6 update, Hendry took to Twitter to say that the developer can use his hit song in the game. He simply said, “Send me the paperwork,” and even emphasized in a separate post that his tweet garnered over 30,000 likes and 2 million views. As of writing, it’s unknown if Rockstar has taken Hendry up on his offer.
Why Does Joe Hendry Want His Song to Be Part of GTA 6?
Hendry didn’t give any specific reason for asking Rockstar Games to put “I Believe in Joe Hendry” in GTA 6. However, he seems to be campaigning on social media to be included in games like Fortnite, which also gained traction among fans and gamers. Likewise, many people are requesting Rockstar to consider Hendry’s offer to include the song, or better yet, turn him into a character in the game. In the past, there had been theories that streamer Kai Cenat might be getting a GTA 6 model after Rockstar reached out to him, but that’s yet to be confirmed as well.
Following the reveal trailer of GTA 6, which showcased some scenes from Leonida featuring the two protagonists, new details have been few and far between. Many fans have taken it upon themselves to find clues about the next installment, including possible GTA 6 actors who might have hinted that they’ll be part of the cast. At the same time, the 2025 release gives fans a lot of hope about more details to come out in the coming months.
