MUMBAI, May 5, 2025: JSW MG Motor India has improved its best-selling MG Windsor model by introducing a PRO series that includes advanced technological features, increased convenience, a refreshed cabin experience, and an upgraded battery.
The Windsor Pro will have a larger 50.6 kWh battery pack, up from the current 38 kWh battery pack, which is expected to provide a claimed range of up to 460 km (CLTC cycle).
The electric motor is anticipated to maintain its output of 134 bhp and 200 nm, driving the front wheels. A significant new feature is the addition of an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, which fills a gap left by the original model.
JSW has redesigned Windsor PRO’s interior to include black leather upholstery, faux wood trim, and copper accents. The MG Windsor PRO, which is set to debut on May 6, 2025, builds on the success of its predecessor.
Catering to changing consumer demands, the company hopes to provide more options for buyers in the electric vehicle market.
The MG Windsor, marketed as India’s first Intelligent CUV, combines the characteristics of a sedan and SUV. Since its introduction, the model has gained popularity in the electric vehicle market, demonstrating a blend of functionality, aesthetics, and advanced technology.
