NEW DELHI: 9th May 2025: In less than 24 hours of its launch, JSW MG Motors claims that the MG Windsor PRO has received over 8,000 bookings. The bookings are for the ‘Essence PRO’ variant, which has a performance-certified 52.9 kWh battery pack.
This passenger electric vehicle is priced at Rs 18,09,800 (ex-showroom) and is available through the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which includes a base price of Rs 13.09 lakh and a per-kilometre usage fee of Rs 4.5.
Safety is prioritised, with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) providing 12 functionalities and three alert levels. Additional features include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities, as well as a powered tailboard. MG’s lineup in India also includes the Hector, ZS EV, Gloster, Astor, Comet, and Windsor.
The MG Windor PRO has a driving range of 449 kilometres and produces 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque.
