MUMBAI, June 4, 2025: TVS Motor Company and Kadam Mobility have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to distribute 500 electric three-wheelers across India in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, marking a significant step in the country’s transition to clean mobility.
With a focus on metro and Tier 1 cities, Kadam Mobility will incorporate the TVS King EV MAX, a fully electric passenger three-wheeler, into its fleet. The initiative is part of a broader plan by both companies to accelerate EV adoption while creating infrastructure and skill-building opportunities.

“Our shared commitment to enabling scalable impact in clean mobility and job creation is reflected in this partnership,” said Rajat Gupta, Business Head-Commercial Mobility at TVS Motor Company. “We’re not just putting EVs on the road; we’re building an intelligent and inclusive ecosystem.” he further added.
The operational rollout will be managed by EV-first fleet and infrastructure platform Kadam Mobility, which will also handle driver engagement, route planning, and charging network integration. Kadam has now formally entered the passenger electric vehicle market.
The TVS King EV MAX is a high-frequency, intra-city passenger vehicle that is renowned for its 179 km range, fast charging capabilities, and Bluetooth-enabled SmartXonnectTM features. First-time EV drivers, many of whom the programme seeks to recruit from under-represented communities, especially women, will find its roomy cabin and easy-to-use controls ideal.
“We want to build the infrastructure and opportunities for future-ready livelihoods, not just deploy vehicles,” stated Anubhav Swara, Kadam Mobility’s founder and CEO. “We are thrilled to provide sustainable mobility solutions to thousands of drivers.”
The collaboration coincides with growing interest in India’s electric three-wheeler market, which is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 45% through 2028 due to favourable policies, cost advantages, and the need for low-emission transportation in urban areas.
With TVS’s manufacturing prowess and Kadam Mobility’s operational know-how, the partnership seeks to meet last-mile service requirements as well as supply-side scale. Both companies are also exploring collaborative driver training and financing models to lower adoption barriers.
