Nothing recently dropped its most affordable phone yet, in the form of the Phone (3a) Lite. The Nothing Phone 3a Lite follows the principles of its counterparts, offer competitive specifications at a competitive price.

However, Nothing isn’t the only phone to introduce a competitive sub-25K smartphone this month. Both Lava and Wobble unveiled their own competitive mid-rangers this week. But can the Lava Agni 4 and Wobble One stand up to the Nothing Phone 3a Lite; let’s find out!

    Design & Build

The era of curved displays seems to be fading away as all three of these phones opt for flat displays. The box shaped form factor and rounded edges are also common among all three phones. However, the rear panel on the three phones is what truly defines them.

The Lava Agni 4 has a polished rear panel with a unique horizontal camera bump, while the Nothing Phone 3a Lite has three individual camera sensors and Nothing’s signature back panel with a stripped-down Glyph Light as opposed to the Glyph Interface. The Wobble One also has a similar matte glass back as the Agni 4, although the former opts for a large square camera island, similar to that of the Xiaomi 15.

While the Nothing Phone 3a Lite uses Panda Glass on the back, the Wobble One and Agni 4 feature unspecified matte glass rear panels. All three phones also have glass protection on the front, although the Lava Agni 4 uses the most durable Gorilla Glass 5. Finally, the Wobble One and Agni 4 feature premium metal frames, compared to the plastic frame on the Phone 3a Lite.

The Wobble One and Lava Agni 4 also offer superior resistance to dust and splashes water with an IP64 rating as compared to the IP54 rating on the Phone 3a Lite. Overall, the Lava Agni 4 and Wobble One offer polished designs with a solid, premium feel, but it’s the Nothing Phone 3a Lite that truly stands out as the most visually striking of the three.

    Display

While the Agni 4 steps up with a sharper 1.5K OLED display, both the Wobble One and the Phone 3a Lite settle for standard Full HD+ AMOLED panels. All three devices support the standard 120Hz refresh rate, while the display on the Wobble One also brings Dolby Vision support as opposed to traditional HDR on the Agni 4 and Phone 3a Lite. Finally, the Nothing Phone 3a Lite can achieve a higher peak brightness than the Agni 4, although we are unclear about the brightness levels on the Wobble One’s screen.

    Performance

In terms of performance, the Nothing Phone 3a Lite and Wobble One both use MediaTek 7000 series chips, although the latter’s Dimensity 7400 SoC is the faster than the Dimensity 7300-Pro chipset on the former. However, the Lava Agni 4 emerges as the clear winner in this battle thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC with faster CPU, GPU, and NPU performance.

    Cameras

Lava Agni 4 vs Nothing Phone 3a Lite vs Wobble One

For optics, the Nothing Phone 3a Lite features a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary Samsung sensor (f/1.9 | 1/1.57″) with OIS and PDAF, an 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 120˚ FOV, and a 2MP macro unit. Up front, the Phone 3a Lite opts for a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture. The Phone 3a Lite can record 4K video at 30fps on the main rear camera.

The Lava Agni 4 boasts a dual camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor (f/1.9 | 1/1.55″) with OIS and PDAF and an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 112˚ FOV. Up front, the Agni 4 gets a high res 50MP selfie camera. The Agni 4 can capture 4K video recording at 60fps on both the 50MP rear and 50MP front cameras.

Finally, the Wobble One smartphone comes with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro unit. Up front, the Wobble One also opts for a 50MP selfie camera. Video capabilities of the Wobble One are unclear, although we believe it will be able to support 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras.

Overall, the Lava Agni 4 clearly leads this round with its superior primary camera, excellent 50MP selfie shooter, and best-in-class 4K video support on both ends. The Wobble One follows closely with a solid main camera and equally strong selfies, although its video capabilities remain uncertain.

The Nothing Phone 3a Lite offers decent imaging performance but falls short in video recording and overall camera versatility. Across the board, ultrawide image quality is unimpressive, making the Agni 4 the most well-rounded choice for photography and videography among the three.

    Software

All three phones run clean versions of Android 15 out of the box with AI features and good customization options. While the Nothing Phone 3a Lite and Agni 4 offer three years of Android OS updates, the former comes with six years of regular security patches as opposed to four on the latter. While Wobble One features a clean user interface, software support is unclear.

    Battery

All three phones pack a 5,000 mAh battery, so you can expect roughly a full day of typical use (around 7-8 hours SOT) from each under mixed workloads.

    • Lava Agni 4 stands out with 66 W fast charging, reaching approximately 50% in 19 minutes – useful if you’re often topping up between tasks.
    • Nothing Phone 3a Lite charges at 33 W, delivering a respectable 50% in ~20 minutes and a full charge in under an hour.
    • For the Wobble One smartphone, assuming a similar 5,000 mAh battery, stamina should be comparable – but without confirmed charging specs, it may lack the rapid recharge convenience of the Agni 4.

Lava Agni 4 vs Nothing Phone 3a Lite vs Wobble One: Conclusion

In this three-way mid-range battle, the Lava Agni 4 consistently emerges as the strongest contender. It offers a premium metal build, the most durable glass protection, a sharper 1.5K display, and the most powerful chipset, topped off with impressive camera performance and the fastest charging. The Wobble One holds its ground with a polished design, capable primary and selfie cameras, and Dolby Vision support, making it a solid second choice, though its video and software support remain uncertain.

The Nothing Phone 3a Lite delivers a clean software experience, long-term security updates, and the most striking design, but falls behind in overall hardware value. Ultimately, the Lava Agni 4 takes the lead, followed by the Wobble One, with the Phone 3a Lite closing the lineup.
