Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) has distinguished itself as the sole automobile manufacturer globally to attain a top 1 percent ranking in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) within S&P Global’s esteemed 2025 Sustainability Yearbook.
M&M has said in a company release that the firm is committed to investing in innovative technologies, sustainable manufacturing practices, and community development initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental footprint and fostering positive social change.
In addition, M&M has excelled in social responsibility, achieving commendable scores in areas such as Customer Relations, Human Rights, and Human Capital Management. According to the 2025 S&P Sustainability Handbook, Mahindra’s score this year stands at 82 out of 100, reflecting a significant 12-point increase from the previous year.
The current milestone positions M&M as the first and only Indian company to achieve world leader status in the automotive sector, while also securing the second position in the combined global ranking for the Automobile and Component Industry.
