The Motorola Edge 70 is set to make its debut in India next week. We recently revealed the full specifications of the Moto Edge 70, now we will take a look at the pricing of the handset in India, but first, let’s dive into the launch details.

Motorola Edge 70 Price & Launch in India

The Motorola Edge 70 launch date in India will take place on December 15 at 12:00 pm (IST). Following the launch, the Motorola Edge 70 will go on sale in India through Flipkart and motorola.com.

While no details have been revealed, we believe the Motorola Edge 70 price in India will fall anywhere between Rs 34,000 to Rs 40,000. It will feature a significant price bump over the Moto Edge 60, which debuted in India from Rs 25,999. The Chinese version of the Edge 70, the Moto X70 Air, started at 2,399 yuan (roughly Rs. 29,950).

Motorola Edge 70 Specifications

The Motorola Edge 70 focuses on a slim design, durability, and balanced performance. It comes in three Pantone-backed colours-Bronze Green, Gadget Grey, and Lily Pad-with a textured finish and an ultra-thin 5.99mm profile. Despite its slim form, the phone offers strong protection with MIL-STD 810H certification and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. It uses an aircraft-grade aluminium frame and weighs about 159g.

Up front is a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, Dolby Atmos support, and Smart Water Touch for reliable input in wet conditions. The phone packs a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, rated for up to 31 hours of video playback, with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging support.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with a vapour chamber cooling system for sustained performance. The Edge 70 runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI, offering a near-stock experience. Motorola promises three Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates, along with Moto AI features such as AI Image Studio, AI Playlist Studio, and productivity tools like Remember This, Catch Me Up, and Next Move. Smart Connect 3.0 enhances cross-device connectivity.

Camera hardware includes a 50MP Pantone-validated main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide with Macro Vision, and a 50MP front camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K 60fps video, with AI features for stabilisation, action shots, group photos, and custom styles.
