The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the Edge 70 Pro Plus made its debut in India last week as the fourth phone in the series, following the Moto Edge 70, Edge 70 Fusion, and Edge 70 Pro.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus features a MediaTek chipset, three 50MP cameras, a vibrant 1.5K OLED display, a sizeable silicon carbon battery with both wired and wireless fast charging support, and tough exterior.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ price in India is set at Rs 47,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. The handset is offered in Satin-Luxe PANTONE Zinfandel (Maroon), Sculpted Wood PANTONE Chicory Coffee (Brown), and Twill Inspired PANTONE Stormy Sea (Green).

Motorola is offering an instant discount of Rs 3,000 on the purchase of the Edge 70 Pro+ using Axis and ICICI Bank credit cards. The Moto Edge 70 Pro+ will be available for purchase in India at 12 pm (IST) today via Flipkart, motorola.in, and offline partner retailers.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Specifications

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ emphasizes a lightweight, slim construction, measuring 6.99mm at its thinnest point and weighing 190g. It introduces the “Collections by Motorola” series to India, featuring unique Satin-Luxe, Sculpted Wood, and Twill-inspired finishes.

The phone features a 6.8-inch 1.5K Super HD+ Extreme AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a quad-curved design, and a 96.8% screen-to-body ratio. The screen is capable of reaching up to 5200 nits of peak brightness and includes Pantone validation, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and Smart Water Touch support.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. A 4600mm² vapour chamber ensures efficient cooling. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB-C. Additionally, the phone integrates motoAI 2.0 features, Google Photos AI editing tools, and support for Gemini, Copilot, and Perplexity.

For photography, the device is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera featuring OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and 50x AI Super Zoom Pro, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro capabilities. A 50MP autofocus front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls. All cameras support 4K HDR video recording at 60fps, supplemented by features such as Horizon Lock, Adaptive Stabilization, and Frame Match.

The Edge 70 Pro+ is powered by a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 90W wired and 15W wireless charging. Beyond its durability with IP68/IP69 ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification, the phone runs Android 16 with Hello UI. Support includes three major OS upgrades, five years of security updates, Moto Secure 5.0, and access to Moto Premium Care with 24/7 support.
