Motorola Hikes Edge 70 Series and G Series Prices in India

If you’ve been sitting on a Motorola purchase, that wait may have just cost you. Tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu) has flagged that Motorola has revised prices upward across a wide chunk of its India lineup, with increases ranging from Rs 2,000 all the way up to Rs 9,000 on some variants.

Motorola has made no official announcement.

The G37 Power Takes the Biggest Hit

The sharpest increases are on the Moto G37 Power. Its 4GB/128GB variant has gone from Rs 15,999 to Rs 21,999, a jump of Rs 6,000. The 8GB/128GB variant has it worse: up from Rs 18,999 to Rs 27,999, which is a Rs 9,000 increase on a budget phone.

That’s a significant shift in positioning. At Rs 27,999, the 8GB G37 Power is no longer a budget play.

Edge 70 Fusion Sees Across-the-Board Increases

All four variants of the Edge 70 Fusion have gone up:

Edge 70 Pro and Edge 60 Fusion Also Revised

The Edge 70 Pro has seen smaller bumps: Rs 1,000 each on both variants. The 8GB/256GB goes from Rs 38,999 to Rs 39,999, and the 12GB/256GB moves from Rs 41,999 to Rs 42,999. These are modest changes, but they do nudge the 12GB model closer to the Rs 43,000 mark.

The Edge 60 Fusion has moved from Rs 26,999 to Rs 29,999, a Rs 3,000 increase.

Budget Segment Hit Too

It’s not just mid-range phones. The entry-level G-series has also seen revisions:

• Moto G37: Rs 13,999 to Rs 18,999 (Rs 5,000 up)
• Moto G06 Power: Rs 12,999 to Rs 15,999 (Rs 3,000 up)
• Moto G57 Power: Rs 19,999 to Rs 21,999 (Rs 2,000 up)
• Moto G67 Power 8GB/128GB: Rs 20,999 to Rs 22,999 (Rs 2,000 up)
• Moto G67 Power 12GB/256GB: Rs 22,999 to Rs 27,999 (Rs 5,000 up)

The G37 and G06 Power were both considered affordable picks under Rs 15,000 and Rs 13,000, respectively. Those price points are now gone.
