Updated September 3, 2024: Another week has come for Destiny 2, which means missions, challenges, and rewards have been reset. Alongside the launch of Act 3 for Episode Echoes, Destiny 2 added a new exotic mission to the game called Encore: Overture. As one of Bungie’s most ambitious missions ever, Encore: Overture eventually leads Destiny 2 players to the powerful Choir of One exotic auto rifle.
While the weapon has quickly become a fan favorite, capable of dismantling enemies thanks to its dual firing modes, Destiny 2 players found an odd restriction on the mission following the Act 3 launch. While the mission continues to be available for all players, some have found that it doesn’t reward the expected weapon at the end. Missing out on the Choir of One left many frustrated, though Bungie offered some advice on social media, indicating that all players should complete all Act 1 and 2 missions prior to launching the mission.
In the meantime, the Destiny 2 weekly reset is finally here, bringing with it the usual refreshed content, activities, and rewards for players to chase over the next week. For a complete look at all the new content available for the week of September 3, including Nightfalls, Crucible modes, and challenges, here is everything players need to know.
