New co-op games are added to Xbox Game Pass on a regular basis, and in fact, there are some new co-op titles on the horizon. In fact, it’s been confirmed that co-op game Revenge of the Savage Planet is joining the Xbox Game Pass lineup on May 8.

The downside is that while Journey to the Savage Planet has co-op support, it’s online-only. Revenge of the Savage Planet, meanwhile, will support both online and local co-op options when it launches on May 8. Local co-op games are not nearly as plentiful as online co-op titles nowadays, so it’s always a treat when a new release supports the fan-favorite feature.
May 2025 is quickly becoming an extremely busy month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Revenge of the Savage Planet is being joined by the highly-anticipated day one Game Pass game Doom: The Dark Ages on May 15, while To a T, the new game from the creator of Katamari Damacy, is launching on May 28. It’s highly likely that there will be even more new games added to Xbox Game Pass in May 2025, but they have yet to be revealed. Regardless, there is plenty for subscribers to look forward to in the months ahead.
