While no official launch date has been provided, Nothing has confirmed that the launch for the Phone 4a series will take place in March 2026, although it is unclear whether the launch will take place before or after MWC 2026, which will be held between March 2 to 6.

The line-up will include the Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro. Following its launch, the Nothing Phone 4a series will likely go on sale in India through Flipkart. Moreover, Nothing recently opened its first physical store in Bengaluru, India.

Nothing Phone 4a Series Prices

Given the current memory crisis affecting smartphones across all segments, the same will likely be the case for the Nothing Phone 4a. Both the Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro are expected to get price bumps over the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro, respectively.

We expect the Nothing Phone 4a price in India to start from under Rs 30,000. On the other hand, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro price in India could fall in the country’s sub-40K segment. However, these are likely to be the prices for the base models.

To recall, the Nothing Phone 3a price in India starts from Rs 24,999, while the Phone 3a Pro costs Rs 29,999 for the base variant. As of now, there is no concrete information about the Nothing Phone 4a series’ pricing, although you can definitely expect price hikes over its predecessor.

Nothing Phone 4a Series Specifications

Rumours point to a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor powering the Nothing Phone 4a Pro, paired with 12GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for faster data access. The top variant, expected with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.The Nothing Phone 4a series is also expected to sport Full HD+ or 1.5K AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates.

Details from the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) suggest the Nothing Phone 4a Pro will feature a 5,080mAh battery. This is a small step up from the 5,000mAh unit in the Nothing Phone 3a Pro. The battery is rated for 1,400 charge cycles and supports 50W wired charging, which targets long-term durability and quick top-ups.

For optics, the Nothing Phone 4a series is expected to feature a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor that supports OIS. The other two sensors on the Phone 4a series remain unclear, but we expect both to feature ultrawide lenses, while the ‘Pro’ variant could get a periscope lens. Up front, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro could opt for a 50MP selfie camera, while the vanilla 4a will likely use a 32MP sensor.

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro is also reported to include an IP65 rating, improving protection against dust and water splashes over the older IP64 rating. Nothing has started the promotional campaign for the Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro with a post on X. The image shows the symbol “(a)” in five shades, including blue, yellow, pink, white, and black, with the caption “soon”. This suggests several colourways and an increased focus on style.

According to Pei, the next Nothing device will feature a bold new appearance, updated colours, and upgraded materials. These changes are expected to appear on both the Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro. The design push aims to distinguish the new models while keeping the signature Nothing visual identity familiar to existing users.
