But, now, things are different. Fans know very well that the Roger Pirates found out the true history of the world. They also figured out the true meaning of the D, as well as what the Ancient Weapons are. Naturally, since the Roger Pirates found out the entire truth, they knew about Imu, the World Government, and also the world sinking. Yet, despite knowing all that, Roger and his crew never said a word to anyone. The only person whom Roger shared the history with was Whitebeard, and there is a reason for that.

When it comes to why the Roger Pirates never fought the World Government, Oda has already confirmed the main reason to the fans. The fact is that Roger and his crew were too early. The Final War can only happen after a certain time in the One Piece world. Those in the Void Century knew that Joy Boy would return after 800 years. Toki knew which timeline to jump to, and even Oden knew that Wano would have to endure for 20 years before Joy Boy’s arrival. Clearly, everyone in the Roger Pirates knew they were too early.

Some fans might still wonder why Roger didn’t inform the world about the impending flooding and the answer to that is simple. The world has to enter an era of chaos for Nika to come. Nika only comes when people are in misery. The only thing Roger could do was start the Great Pirate Era, so the chances of the next Nika finding the One Piece increase, and his crew served as guides to Nika on his journey.
