Recent chatter around the OnePlus 15s has taken another turn. After earlier rumors suggested the device might not launch at all, a new tip now claims the phone is back on the calendar, though possibly with some changes.

Here’s what we know so far, based only on the latest leaks and reports.

OnePlus 15s Launch Rumors Revisited

Initial speculation claimed that OnePlus might skip the 15s entirely and instead focus on launching the OnePlus 15T in China. There were even broader rumors suggesting the company itself was shutting down, something OnePlus later addressed and dismissed.

Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has posted on X that the OnePlus 15s is “back on track” for launch. In the same post, he mentioned the device would arrive with “changed optics.” While that phrase isn’t detailed, it likely points to a different camera setup compared to the OnePlus 15T, which is believed to be its closely related sibling.

Earlier, an alleged listing for the OnePlus 15s with model number CPH2793 surfaced on India’s BIS certification site. However, the tipster who shared that information later deleted the post, and no further confirmation followed. For now, that listing remains uncertain.

What The OnePlus 15T Leak Reveals

Since the OnePlus 15s is often linked to the rumored OnePlus 15T, most of the available hardware details come from leaks surrounding the 15T.

According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus 15T may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The device is said to feature a 6.32-inch display with 1.5K resolution.

Earlier reports pointed toward a triple rear camera setup. However, newer information suggests the 15T could instead use a dual camera system consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens. A 16MP front-facing camera has also been mentioned.

Battery capacity is rumored to fall between 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh. Some reports also hint at an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor.

If the OnePlus 15s is indeed a reworked version of the 15T, it may share many of these specifications, with possible adjustments to the camera hardware.

OnePlus 15s India Launch Timeline

There’s no confirmed launch date for either model.

If OnePlus follows a pattern similar to the OnePlus 13s (review) and 13T cycle, the 15T could debut around April, with the 15s potentially arriving later, possibly in July. That said, smartphone launch timelines have shifted frequently in recent months, so these projections remain tentative.

For now, all of this remains based on tipster claims and early leaks. Official confirmation from OnePlus is still pending.
