Earlier today, we reported that OnePlus is set to launch the Nord 6 in India soon. Now, the company has dropped its first official teaser for the upcoming Nord smartphone. Additionally, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Amazon, confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform.
OnePlus Nord 6 Launch in India Teased
OnePlus has started teasing the arrival of the Nord 6 in India. The brand did not mention the name of the phone in the teaser; it simply says, “Entering the Nord era soon.”
While OnePlus is yet to reveal the launch date of its upcoming Nord smartphone, tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the Nord 6 could launch in early April in the country. He further mentions that the phone will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Turbo 6. The upcoming Nord 6 is also expected to see a price hike in India.
As per the Amazon teaser, the phone appears to have volume rockers placed on the right side, along with a circular camera sensor cutout and rounded edge corners, hinting that it could be the OnePlus Turbo 6.
OnePlus Nord 6: What to Expect?
Tipster Sanju Choudhary has shared the specifications of the OnePlus Nord 6, which appear to mirror those of the OnePlus Turbo 6. In terms of specs, the OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, paired with UFS 4.1 storage. The phone could pack a 9,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
For optics, it will opt for a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor. However, the Nord 6 is tipped to have a better selfie camera than the Turbo 6. The device is also expected to carry IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance and will run on OxygenOS 16. As far as the price is concerned, the OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to be priced above 35k in India.
