The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is set to make its global debut in the second last week of April. The handset will be unveiled alongside the OPPO Find X9s Pro. While we have already leaked the specifications of the Find X9 Ultra, OPPO has now confirmed the cameras of its ultra-premium smartphone.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra Camera Specifications

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra includes a 200MP primary camera with an almost 1-inch sensor, which Oppo claims gathers 10% more light than the Find X8 Ultra. There is also a 50MP periscope telephoto camera that offers 10x optical zoom.

A second telephoto unit on the Oppo Find X9 Ultra uses a 200MP sensor with 3x optical zoom and is said to capture 36% more light than its predecessor. The phone also has a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP front camera, each claimed to collect 56% more light than the OPPO Find X8 Ultra. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra both deliver flagship-level camera systems with powerful sensors and versatile zoom. The key difference lies in tuning-Vivo’s cameras are optimised by Zeiss for natural colours and precision, whereas Oppo uses Hasselblad tuning for its distinct color science.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra Specifications: What We Know So Far

Alongside these cameras, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra adds a new true colour camera, listed as a 3.2MP sensor, described as 43% more light-sensitive. According to China Telecom, the phone uses a 6.78-inch display with a 3168 × 1440 resolution.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is listed with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. China Telecom notes three colour choices: Polar Glacier, Rongsha Valley and Tundra, with images showing the Tundra finish.

Design details in the listing show the Oppo Find X9 Ultra placing the volume and power buttons on the right edge, along with a dedicated camera key, while a quick shortcut button appears on the left. The rear camera module looks thick but less protruding than the unit on the recently launched Vivo X300 Ultra.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is scheduled to launch in China and global markets on April 21 at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. Oppo has focused strongly on imaging for the Find X9 Ultra, including several high-resolution sensors and claimed gains in light intake.
