Compact flagships aren’t new anymore, but 2026 is starting to shape how this category evolves. Vivo and OnePlus already placed their bets last year with the X200 FE and OnePlus 13s. Now Oppo is stepping in with the Reno 15 Pro Mini, making it the first compact flagship launch of 2026.

OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini vs Vivo X200 FE vs OnePlus 13s

That timing matters. The Reno 15 Pro Mini isn’t just another small phone. It’s Oppo’s idea of what a compact premium phone should look like this year, going up against two devices that have already had time to settle in.

So how do these three actually compare today?

Design and Display: Same Size, Different Priorities

All three phones stick close to the same footprint, hovering around 6.3 inches. That alone makes them stand out in a market dominated by much larger screens.

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini uses a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with slim bezels and a flat panel. It feels deliberately compact and balanced. Brightness peaks at 3,600 nits, which is more than enough for outdoor use, and the flat design keeps accidental touches in check.

OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini vs Vivo X200 FE vs OnePlus 13s

Vivo’s X200 FE also comes in at 6.31 inches, but it leans harder into display specs. Its LTPO AMOLED panel pushes much higher peak brightness on paper and supports HDR10+. If you spend a lot of time watching videos or scrolling outdoors, this display is the most aggressive of the three.

The OnePlus 13s sits somewhere in the middle. Its 6.32-inch LTPO display doesn’t chase extreme brightness numbers, but color tuning and consistency feel familiar and reliable. It’s the safest display here, not the flashiest.

All three support 120Hz refresh rates, and at this size, that smoothness feels especially noticeable.

Performance: Raw Speed vs Everyday Stability

This is where the phones start to separate clearly.

The OnePlus 13s is built around performance first. Its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is the most powerful processor in this comparison, and it shows in benchmarks and real-world use. Apps open instantly, games run smoothly, and there’s headroom for heavy multitasking. If speed is your top priority, this phone makes that obvious.

OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini vs Vivo X200 FE vs OnePlus 13s

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini takes a more balanced approach. The Dimensity 8450 isn’t trying to top benchmark charts, but performance stays consistent. Gaming holds up well, thermals are controlled, and day-to-day usage feels smooth without drawing attention to itself.

Vivo’s X200 FE lands between the two. The Dimensity 9300 Plus offers strong graphics performance, especially for gaming, but it also runs warmer under sustained load.

Cameras: Oppo Goes Big, Vivo Goes Practical, OnePlus Keeps It Simple

Camera hardware is where Oppo makes its strongest statement.

The Reno 15 Pro Mini packs a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom. That setup gives it the most flexibility in this comparison, especially for portraits and zoom shots. It’s clearly aimed at users who care about camera versatility, not just point-and-shoot results.

OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini vs Vivo X200 FE vs OnePlus 13s

The Vivo X200 FE uses a more restrained setup. A 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope lens focus on reliability rather than excess. Image processing is consistent, portraits look natural, and zoom remains usable without pushing things too far.

The OnePlus 13s keeps things simple with a dual-camera system. A 50MP main and a 50MP telephoto cover everyday needs, but the lack of an ultrawide lens limits flexibility. Image quality is clean and predictable, though it doesn’t try to compete on hardware complexity.

All three phones offer high-resolution selfie cameras, but Oppo and Vivo place more emphasis on camera versatility and video features up front.

Battery and Charging: Endurance vs Convenience

Battery capacity is another area where philosophies differ.

The Vivo X200 FE has the largest battery at 6,500mAh. Combined with efficient tuning, it’s the easiest phone here to push into a second day, even with heavier use.

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini follows closely with a 6,200mAh battery. It supports fast wired charging and wireless charging, which makes quick top-ups convenient. Battery life is solid, though not the longest-lasting in this group.

The OnePlus 13s has the smallest battery at 5,850mAh. It charges quickly, but you’ll likely plug it in more often than the other two, especially if you game or stream a lot.

    Software and Update Policy

The OnePlus 13s has received the OxygenOS 16 update based on Android 16. OnePlus promises four major Android OS updates and six years of security updates for the device.

The Vivo X200 FE ships with Funtouch OS on top of Android. Vivo has confirmed that the phone is eligible for the OriginOS 6 update, which is expected to roll out soon. The company promises three major Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Oppo is offering the longest support here, with five years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates.

    Pricing in India

    Here’s how pricing lines up:

    OnePlus 13s

    • 12GB + 256GB: Rs 54,998
    • 12GB + 512GB: Rs 59,998

    Vivo X200 FE

    • 12GB + 256GB: Rs 56,999
    • 16GB + 512GB: Rs 59,999

    Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini

    • 12GB + 256GB: Rs 59,999
    • 12GB + 512GB: Rs 64,999

    Verdict

Buy the OnePlus 13s if performance and price matter most. It’s the fastest phone here, starts cheaper than the others, and delivers consistently smooth day-to-day performance. If you care more about speed than camera flexibility, the 13s is still the most sensible buy.

Buy the Vivo X200 FE if you want better cameras and battery life without paying extra. Its triple-camera setup gives it an edge over the OnePlus in versatility, especially with the ultrawide sensor, and the larger battery makes it easier to get through a long day. It’s a practical pick if you value photos, video, and endurance more than peak performance.

Buy the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini if you want the most complete compact flagship in 2026. It’s the newest phone here, offers the longest software support, and its triple-camera system is the most capable of the three. Yes, it costs more, but if cameras, longevity, and overall balance matter more than saving a few thousand rupees, this is the one that makes the strongest long-term case.
