Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16c Launched in India: Check Price, Specs, and Availability

Oppo has launched the Reno 16 and Reno 16c in India, weeks after the series debuted in China. Both phones run Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and go on sale July 9 via Amazon, Flipkart, and the Oppo India online store.

Customers can avail a 10 percent instant cashback with SBI, HDFC Bank, and select other bank credit cards.

Price and Availability

The Oppo Reno 16 starts at Rs. 61,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs. 67,999 for the 12GB/256GB model.

The Oppo Reno 16c is priced at Rs. 46,999 for the 8GB/128GB base variant, Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB/256GB model, and Rs. 55,999 for the 12GB/256GB option.

Both phones are available in Starry White, Stellar Purple, and Twilight Violet colourways.

Oppo Reno 16: Specifications

The Reno 16 features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 1,216×2,640 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 460 ppi pixel density, and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness.

It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor with a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto with an 80mm equivalent focal length. The front camera is a 50MP shooter. The phone packs a 6,700mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging.

Oppo Reno 16c: Specifications

The Reno 16c has a larger 6.57-inch AMOLED display at 1,080×2,372 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 397 ppi pixel density, and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness.

It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto. The front camera is also 50MP. The Reno 16c has a slightly larger 7,000mAh battery, also with 80W wired fast charging support.

What’s Common Between Both

Both phones are dual SIM, support in-display fingerprint scanning and face unlock, and carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Connectivity on both includes 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and GPS with GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS support.

The Reno 16 measures 151.21×72.42×8.36mm and weighs 193g, while the Reno 16c is slightly larger at 158.16×74.92×8.58mm and weighs 197g.
