OPPO has started teasing the Reno 16 series in India, with dedicated microsites now live on Amazon and Flipkart. At the same time, the company has opened registrations for a ₹9 Reno 16 Series Privilege Pack that bundles freebies and discount vouchers for prospective buyers.
The teasers don’t reveal much about the phones themselves, but recent leaks have shed light on what could be coming, particularly the Reno 16C, a model that has yet to make its debut anywhere.

What Does the ₹9 Privilege Pack Include?
For ₹9, buyers get access to several offers tied to the Reno 16 series.
According to the listing, the pack includes an OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro coupon worth ₹3,499, a Reno 16 series case worth ₹999, an ₹800 exchange bonus coupon, and a ₹1,000 coupon for the OPPO Pad SE.

The combined value of the offers is listed at over ₹6,000, although the benefits can only be redeemed alongside eligible purchases.
What’s interesting is that OPPO has put the pack live before confirming the India lineup, which usually suggests the launch isn’t too far away.

Reno 16C Expected Specs
The standard Reno 16 isn’t much of a mystery anymore. It has already launched in China, and multiple reports suggest the Indian variant could swap the Chinese model’s Dimensity chip for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The phone is likely to be priced in the ₹55,000-₹60,000 range.
The more interesting device is the rumored Reno 16C.
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the phone could feature a 6.57-inch 120Hz flat display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset, and up to 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The camera setup is also said to include something that’s becoming increasingly rare in this segment: a telephoto lens. The leaked setup includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto sensor. Selfies could be handled by a 50MP front camera.
Battery life may end up being another major talking point. While earlier leaks pointed to a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging, the latest information suggests OPPO could push things further with a 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging.
Reno 16C Price
The Reno 16C is tipped to launch between ₹45,000 and ₹50,000.
That would place it in an interesting spot. At that price, buyers would be getting features that are usually reserved for more expensive phones, including a telephoto camera, a large battery, and potentially 80W charging.
Whether OPPO can justify that pricing will likely depend on the final hardware and how much of the leaked specification sheet makes it to the retail version.
More Than Just Phones?
The Reno 16 teasers on Flipkart and Amazon hint that OPPO could have a few extras lined up as well.
One of them appears to be the OPPO Bubble, a magnetic AMOLED accessory that can attach to the back of the phone and act as a viewfinder for the rear cameras. A new pair of earbuds, believed to be the Enco Air 5, also appears in the teaser material.
With teasers already live and the ₹9 Privilege Pack now available, OPPO’s Reno 16 launch campaign has clearly started. The only thing missing now is the official launch date.
