Mumbai, May 14, 2025: Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has partnered with Japan’s EXEDY Corporation to bring Made-in-India electric vehicles to the global market, powered by EXEDY’s advanced CVT gearbox technology, which is known for its smooth performance and high gradeability.
OSM’s EVs will be better suited for varied terrains and international conditions, informed Uday Narang, Founder of Omega Seiki Mobility.

The company has announced a global expansion strategy that will focus on high-growth markets such as the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. The Middle East EV market is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 25% until 2030, while Africa’s sector could grow fivefold by 2035 due to urbanisation and rising fuel costs.
In Southeast Asia, countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand are promoting adoption through strong policy incentives, propelling the regional market to $2.7 billion by 2027. Latin America, particularly Brazil and Mexico, is also gaining momentum, with EVs expected to account for 30% of light commercial vehicles by 2030.
Omega Seiki Mobility and Exedy Japan aim to deliver sustainable mobility solutions around the world while also demonstrating India’s innovation, dependability, and commitment to a cleaner, greener future, Narang, OSM founder, said.
