POCO is gearing up to launch the C85 5G phone soon in India. The brand has officially teased the arrival of the upcoming C-series phone. Moreover, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, confirming its availability. The official teaser also confirms the camera details of the handset. Let’s dive in.
POCO C85 5G Launch in India Teased
POCO took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to confirm the arrival of the C85 5G in India. The teaser showcases the phone in a purple finish, sporting a dual rear camera setup inside a square module. The brand has also confirmed that the device will feature a 50MP AI camera. Apart from this, nothing is known at this moment.
However, the POCO C85 5G Indian variant was recently spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing its design and key specifications. The listing shows the device with the model number ‘2508CPC2BI’, where the ‘I’ confirms it as the Indian variant. It carries the codename ‘tornado’.
Moreover, the listing showed the phone with a flat display and slim bezels on three sides, along with a slightly thicker chin at the bottom. It also features a waterdrop notch for the front camera. On the right side, it has volume rockers and power button.
The report further suggests that the upcoming POCO C85 5G closely resembles the Redmi 15C 5G, indicating that POCO may be rebranding that model. If true, the device could be powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset.
