POCO has announced the launch date for the C85 5G in India. Following the launch, the smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live. The microsite has also confirmed a few details about the phone. Here’s everything you should know about the upcoming POCO phone.
POCO C85 India Launch Set for December 9
The POCO C85 5G is scheduled to launch in India on December 9 at 12pm IST. The teaser showcases the phone in a purple finish with a dual-tone rear panel. It features POCO branding along one side and a dual-rear-camera setup housed inside a square module.
POCO C85 5G: What to Expect?
The POCO C85 is confirmed to feature a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. The brand claims it can charge from 1% to 50% in just 28 minutes. The device will also come with a 50MP dual AI camera. Apart from this, nothing else has been revealed on the Flipkart microsite yet, but more details are expected as we move closer to the launch.
Earlier, the Google Play Console listing revealed the phone’s front design. It shows a flat display with slim bezels on three sides and a slightly thicker chin at the bottom. The device features a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. On the right side, it houses the volume rockers and the power button.
Moreover, the upcoming POCO C85 is said to be a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi 15C. If that turns out to be true, the POCO C-series phone could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 120Hz display.
