Poco has started teasing its next entry-level smartphone in India. A new Flipkart microsite confirms that the Poco C85x 5G will launch in the country on March 10, giving an early look at the phone’s design and positioning.
For now, the company hasn’t revealed the full specifications, but the teaser offers a few hints about what the device might focus on.
Launch Scheduled For March 10
The Poco C85x 5G is scheduled to launch in India on March 10, according to the Flipkart listing.
The teaser also includes the tagline “battery ka khiladi,” which suggests that battery life could be one of the main talking points of the device. Poco hasn’t shared the exact battery capacity yet.
Promotional images for the launch show actor Akshay Kumar holding the phone, which also gives a clearer look at the rear panel.
Dual-Tone Design Revealed
The teaser images show the phone in a golden color with a dual-tone finish. One side of the back panel looks plain and matte, while the other appears to have a textured surface.
At the top left corner, the device carries a vertically aligned pill-shaped camera module. The module contains two circular camera cutouts, while the LED flash sits outside the camera housing, positioned beside the main sensor.
Camera Details
An earlier listing hinted that the Poco C85x 5G could feature a 32-megapixel AI rear camera.
Aside from that, Poco hasn’t revealed much about the phone’s hardware yet. With the launch date now confirmed, more details about the device are likely to appear in the days leading up to the announcement.
