POCO has officially entered the premium flagship segment with the global launch of the POCO F9 series. The lineup includes the POCO F9 Pro and the more powerful POCO F9 Ultra.

Both smartphones feature premium AMOLED displays, 200MP primary cameras, 100W charging and Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3 software, while the Ultra gets a more powerful chipset, larger battery and upgraded cameras.

POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra Price

The POCO F9 Pro price starts at $699 (around Rs 58,700) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB + 512GB model costs $769 (around Rs 64,600).

The POCO F9 Ultra price starts at $799 (around Rs 67,100) for the 12GB + 256GB version. The 16GB + 512GB model costs $949 (around Rs 79,800), while the top-end 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at $1,199 (around Rs 1,00,700).

Early-bird pricing starts at $649 (around Rs 54,500) for the F9 Pro and $729 (around Rs 61,200) for the F9 Ultra. Indian pricing and availability have not been confirmed yet.

POCO F9 Pro Specifications

The POCO F9 Pro features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The phone is powered by a slightly lower-tier variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

For photography, the F9 Pro gets a 200MP primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. It is accompanied by a 2.5x telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens.

The smartphone packs a 6,330mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also supports 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

POCO F9 Ultra Specifications

The POCO F9 Ultra gets a larger 6.9-inch AMOLED display, also supporting a 185Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The camera setup includes a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ISOCELL JN5 periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP OV50M ultrawide sensor.

Powering the Ultra is a massive 8,050mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

POCO F9 Series Software and Durability

Both smartphones run Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and are promised four major software updates. They also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, further strengthening their premium positioning.
